We stayed at this beautiful and clean condo for 5 days for our first family vacation with our 1 year old along with another couple. It was perfect! The condo has everything we needed. It was centrally located in St. Lawrence Gap. The grocery store and restaurants are right by the condo complex. Had a week in St Lucia followed by a week in Barbados; - if you want a 2nd class vacation go to St Lucia !! - St Lawrence Gap is fantastic, - saved a few $$$ as we didn't need a rental - plenty of places to eat within easy strolling distance and a little convenience store nearby. Fantastic condo - free WiFi so we could check e-mails on the downstairs terrace with a nice glass of wine. We found "The Gap" to be absolutely awesome and Sapphire Beach the best place in the Gap and "Amikka" the jewel in Sapphire Beach's crown - Thanks for the welcome pack - a cold beer and glass of wine on arrival was a great touch and really appreciated !!Did you find this review helpful? - probably our 20th time in Barbados and this rates as the best experience ever !!!- the condo is immaculately equipped, super modern and with every convenience necessary for a fantastic stay. Sapphire Beach Condo's are situated in what is probably the best location in "The Gap" - within walking distance of some fab restaurants (Waterside & Harlequin) and within easy striking distance of Tapas and Champers (our favorite) - many thanks Mike & Andrea; - WE'LL DEFINITELY BE BACK !!! - Pat & Marino TorontoDid you find this review helpful? It is very rare to find a holiday let is EXACTLTY as it is described and illustrated - Amikka is it! We were so thrilled when we arrived and looked from the balcony at the blue blue sea and white beach, so quiet and just a hop, skip and a jump from the apartment. The apartment is in a fantastic location and it's furnished and equipped to the highest standard. The grocery pack on arrival was very welcome, especialy the banks beer. As I was on my own with my son and his girlriend attending my elder son's wedding along the beach, the accommodation was just perfect. We all had our own space, but enjoyed sitting on the balcny at night listening to the lapping sea nad tree frogs! Thanks to Andrea and Mike for a memorable stay.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

A holiday in Amikka is undoubtedly the best place in the world you could spend a week. The condo is five star quality, and every detail has been thought of, from the ice-cube dispensing freezer to the CD player in the bedroom and the free wifi. The view from the balcony is exceptional and it's a wonderful way to start a day eating breakfast out there and then finish the day enjoying a glass of wine watching the sunset. It is approximately ten steps from the patio to the beach, a perfect location! The beach itself is glorious, we visited other beaches around the island but the one on your doorstep is by far the best! We were made to feel really at home by the wonderful staff who couldn't do enough to help. There's lots to do, break up a lazy day under the palm tree fringed beach by going jet-skiing, banana boating or sailingI And visiting the nearby grill for a lunch of swordfish. I never wanted to leave! Thank you so much for letting us stay, I cannot recommend this place highly enough! My cousin and I stayed in the Amikka for Cropover 2k11 and it was FANTASTIC!!! The Amikka is absolutely ideal and gorgeous. The duplex layout is perfect for friends and family in that everyone is staying together but everyone has their own space. The view from the patio of the beach is breath taking and the pool water is tempting as it is literally steps from the lower-level doorway. The staff working is so helpful and hospitable we felt as if they were family. The year before I stayed at another location and nothing compares to Amikka. We enjoyed to option to eat-out or stay in and cook. Thank you to the owners for their hospitality and the opportunity to experience the Amikka. Looking forward to 2012, God willing. Beautiful place to stay, very clean and comfortable. As great as the pics are, they don't do this place justice. You simply have to be there. No hassles, easy to book and trustworthy renters. Travelling with a family of five (three children) it is not always easy to satisfy everyone. This property exceeded expectations for all of us. Andrea and Mike were fantastic in preparing and guiding us. The beach and Gap area offered something for everyone. Have been coming to Barbados for over 30 years and this is, without any doubt, the best location and best apartment we have stayed in to date. Fabulous apartment which is luxuriously appointed and probably the best location in St Lawrence Gap; - everything we needed was provided including a great cool box which we took on picnics !! - we will certainly try to stay here again on our next visit.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This is a beautifully decorated apartment, clean, well maintained and has everything you could possibly want. Wonderful views, and I particularly liked the idea of a sofa on the balcony first time I have come across this. Air con in the lounge was very welcome as we had hot and humid weather while we were there. There are some great restaurants in St. Lawrence Gap all within walking/staggering distance of the apartment. The owner was extremely helpful as we were delayed leaving Barbados due to the snow back in the UK. I would definitely recommend anyone to stay here.Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

This was a great place to stay. Beautiful condo with everything you need and more! Lots of room, we stayed with 5 girls for a girls getaway and it was perfect. Beach access was a breeze and props to Charles on the beach for the excellent service. The condo is really impressive, beautifully furnished and fully stocked kitchen, glassware, plates, coffee maker, etc... the list goes on and on. It has everything - we were very impressed.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

This place is amazing. My friends and I stayed here for Crop Over 2010. Here are the highlights of the condo: 1. Great View of the beach 2. Very clean 3. Very modern (new appliances and furniture) 4. Convenient…Everything was in walking distance 5. Clubs/Bars/restaurants 10 min walk from Condo 6. Nice staff 7. Lovely pool I have no complaints about this place. Our main focus heading to Barbados was to party and have fun…. and we accomplished that. I will def. stay here again.
