A serene 26-acre retreat on a seldom-traveled country road. This amazing outdoor setting includes a fenced in (acre and a half) swimming pool surrounded by blue-stone tiles with a gazebo. Miles of wooded walks, including a gentle creek out back. Sit by the outdoor fire-pit and reflect on the crystal clear stars. All bordered by protected woodlands.
The entire interior has the look and feel of a classic modern home. The first floor, with slate floors, consists of an open kitchen and dining areas. A brand new chef’s kitchen includes soapstone counter spaces, a marble island that seats three, a six-burner gas wolf stove, viking refrigerator, viking wine refrigerator and a Miele dishwasher. The dining table fits up to ten people.
The living room has beautiful cherry floors and a wood burning stove. The perfect place to relax, read or entertain your guests. There are over 400 discs to listen to and hundreds of books to choose from. In between the kitchen and the living room is a screened-in porch overlooking the grounds.
Rounding out the first floor is a mudroom for all your equipment you may need to ski, play tennis etc…

The second floor consists of three bedrooms and an office. The master bedroom suite, has a king size bed, a working fireplace and an en-suite bathroom with a deep soaking tub with jacuzzi. The other two bedrooms both have full beds. There is an office as well as another full bathroom on the floor.
Finished basement with many windows and a wood-burning stove. A cozy sectional sofa, 50-inch plasma tv, with loads of movies, wii, netflix, and apple TV. The guest room has a queen bed and an en-suite bathroom. There is a full laundry room on the floor as well.
House is equipped with WiFi and Sirius radio.
The house is 1.5 miles from the Old Chatham Country store.

Located in the charming town of Old Chatham and minutes away from Chatham. Both towns offer many dining options, shopping and a wonderful classic movie theater. The area has golf courses, horseback riding stables, hiking trails, yoga studios and spas. Hudson, is a half hour away and offers wonderful antique stores and restaurants. The Berkshires are within a half hour away. Cultural events during the summer include Tanglewood, Stockbridge, Tannery Pond, Williamstown Theater. In the Fall, view the beautiful leaves changing and visit the farms that have apple and pumpkin picking. Every season offers a bounty of activities and cultural events. Winter, Fall, Spring rates: $700 a night (Three night minimum). Holidays an extra $100.00 per nights. 1 week (seven nights) at $4,500. One month at $14,000. Summer rates starting on May 24, 2013: Three night minimum at $1,000.00 per night. 1 week (seven nights) for $6,000; 2 weeks (14 nights) for $11,000; One month for $20,000. 50% deposit due at time of booking and the balance due two weeks prior to arrival. Rates do not include taxes, utilities. Additional $150.00 for cleaning.
