The Lake House
This home is right on Canyon Lake with beautiful views from inside the house, the back deck, or relaxing in the hot tub! Check out the pictures and see what we mean. A private boat dock allows the family to enjoy swimming, fishing, or kayaking (in either a single or a two-person kayak). The Aqua Lilypad is great fun in the water for the kids (see photo)! Inside, enjoy the 55' HD TV in the comfort of a plush 5-person sectional with four reclining chairs! The surround sound makes it even better. Outdoor speakers allow you to enjoy entertaining both inside and out. The bar area (sorry, not stocked!) allows you to entertain in style and comfort. Ping pong and darts in the garage.
Sleeping Arrangements
Plenty of room. King in the master, king in the first guest bedroom, and two sets of bunkbeds in the second guest bedroom (with one of the four being a full size bed). 'Click-Clack' loungers in the living room also fully recline and serve as single beds. TVs in every bedroom.

Canyon Lake is a private, gated community, centrally located within major tourist attractions! Within an hour, you have your choice of Disneyland (Anaheim), San Diego, Los Angeles, and Palm Springs! Centrally located between San Diego and Orange County, this property is approximately 1-1.5 hours from Disneyland, Sea World, San Diego Zoo and Balboa Park, Temecula wineries, mountain resorts water parks in Palm Springs, Knotts Berry Farm, Universal Studios, Legoland, and world class golf courses.
Canyon Lake
The lake itself is 383 acres, with 15 miles of shoreline. It has 3 main beaches and 4 additional beaches spread throughout the grounds. There is a 19,000 sf Mediterranean style clubhouse/lodge which includes a restaurant and sports bar. Four championship lighted tennis courts and an 18-hole regulation golf course are available for the sports enthusiasts. Fishing is a great at Canyon Lake, with bass, bluegill and catfish planted each year. Summers are tremendous at Canyon Lake. Taco Tuesday at the clubhouse, Memorial Day ski show, July 4th beach parties and fireworks show, and holiday boat parades are just a sampling of the fun activities.

Everything about this rental house and the owners were FABULOUS! We loved it and would stay again and recommend it to anyone! Give them a shot. I want to make sure all know that this vacation rental was amazing. We needed a few days away and once we were there, we really never left. The lake and dock were great. My 12 and 15 year olds sons fished, kayaked and swam. We love our fishing. The numbers were 2 catfish (7lbs and 9lbs) 4 bass, 20 Crappie (big Crappie) couple Bluegill. Lotta fun-crappie fishing from a kayak. Spent a lot of time jumping off the dock and in the jacuzzi as well. The house was open, clean as a whistle with all modern amenities. Really had a great time. I want to recommend this place to all.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Several friends and I rented the property over a weekend to stay in during an out of town wedding. While most didn't need to stay more than one night, I talked them into it, and we were able to rent this fantastic lakeside house. It was relaxing and spacious - roomier than it looked in photos - and the amenities were great. I grilled up dinner Friday night for my friends, and we hung out in the hot tub listening to the wind on the lake. The renter left us snacks and drinks in the fridge - a homey touch! Highly recommended for a short weekend of relaxing or for a longer trip.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

This house was great. Listing description was accurate and the house was well stocked with all necessities. The property was better than what the pictures portrayed. We were impressed with the views and the tranquility the property provided. The house was very clean and well maintained. The furniture was comfortable and tastefully decorated. The house offers a lot of entertainment, the huge TV is great, there are board games and the garage has a ping pong table and electric dart board. Owner has kayaks that we took for a spin on the lake. I even did some fishing right of the boat dock. There were tennis courts about a mile away in the community center were we played tennis. We were able to enjoy the peace and quite a private house offers and the amenities of a community center all in one. The owner was very nice and easy to work with. I would definitely recommend this property to everyone and I myself can’t wait to come back again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We were welcomed with a basket and a birthday card - the owners were great! The home is fresh and newly renovated. We loved the location on a quiet area of the lake yet close to the beaches and clubhouse. One of my favorite places is sitting in the comfy hot tub overlooking the beautiful lake and mountains, lined with cypress trees. We had friends over Sunday to watch the game on their big TV and found the home to be perfect for entertaining with a large open kitchen, bar area and sectional sofa. Morning coffee on the patio watching the birds play in the water was tranquil and lovely. This is a place that we hope to revisit often!Recommended for: Sightseeing, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
