  This home was in the perfect location for our needs. It is 1.5 miles away from the convention center, the primary reason for our visit to Albuquerque. This also puts it into close proximity to Old Town, Downtown, and Knob Hill. We especially enjoyed the visit to Old Town. It is also very close to the zoo, which did produce a foul odor during one evening. I presume they were cleaning the pens. The home is exquisitely appointed and felt very luxurious. Absolutely everything that we could possibly need was there. The owner was very attentive and the home was meticulously clean. This home is located in the downtown urban area, so the neighborhood is very diverse. We felt very comfortable here and enjoyed the experience.

  I just completed an 18 day road trip with my mom, and my 7 year old daughter. We spent 3 nights in Albuquerque. Marilyn's house was a great place to stay. The bed in the master was very comfortable. We had great fun watching netflix movies in the 2nd bedroom when we pulled out the sofa bed and hooked up our laptop to the flat screen. This house had very nice gardens. I would have liked to spend more time there, and my mom did enjoy having her coffee and reading her book outside in the early mornings. Marilyn has been very nice and is also mailing me some items that I left in her home, so I'd recommend this home rental to anyone looking to stay in Albuquerque.

  Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

  Both of us loved the house ,which has the nice taste and comfortable but we did not like the area.

  This great house is attractive, well-equipped, has comfortable furniture and is clean and light. It has a beautiful outdoor patio around 3 sides of the house that provides privacy and useful living space. We enjoyed eating outside on warm days. This house is close to Downtown Albuquerque and Old Town. Marilyn and Sean, the owners, greeted us when we arrived and were helpful in providing information about where to shop for groceries, etc. We were here to visit our daughter and enjoyed our stay immensely. We would be happy to stay here again for our next visit.

  My daughter and I enjoyed staying in this lovely home. It is well appointed, clean and comfortable. We were able to comfortably relax in the evenings, after a long day on the golf course.

  Our trip to Albuquerque was perfect in every way, due in part to staying in this beautiful, cozy, relaxing home. The home appears to be brand new, as it was so clean, with beautiful design details. The home provided wonderful sleep in a comfortable bed, fully stocked kitchen for easy meal prep, and easy access to walking/biking trails. It was still pretty cold during our stay so we didn't spend much time relaxing in the private outdoor space surrounding the home, but I hope to return during the warmer season and spend time reading/relaxing in the "Zen" like outdoor living space. I can't wait to come back!!

  Obviously, this home is lovely based on the photos alone, but the feel of the home is what won me over.  It was beyond comfortable and peaceful with he large windows at every turn and zen-like outdoor space. We were able to make most of our meals at the home and enjoyed the well-stocked kitchen. The bedding and towels provided were plush.  We were able to walk to the Zoo -- literally around the corner --and to the neighborhood bakery, Bosque Baking Company, to pick up fresh bread for dinner.  The owners of the home have been accommodating and friendly.

  My husband and I love this home. It was so perfect for our Christmas week holiday in Albuquerque, we hated to leave. It's both beautiful and comfortable, and Marilyn was a wonderful host. Although we didn't meet, she was easy to communicate with and left very clear instructions about the house's appliances, TV, sound system, wifi, and other features. When a slight glitch occurred during our stay, my husband called her and she responded immediately; problem solved. The kitchen was so well organized and well stocked with every possible utensil we managed to pull off an elaborate Christmas dinner. The house looks just as it does in the photos, except they can't really do it justice. Although a small house, the rooms are more spacious and vibrant, with a comfortable lived-in feeling, than they appear in the photos. Just as in the photos, though, every room was immaculate. The bed was super comfortable, with a choice of pillows (we took our down traveling pillows but didn't need them, a rarity). We loved the way the sun warmed the house in the morning through the west-facing windows. We loved the total privacy of the patio, the little pond (though frozen when we were there), and the raised beds in the back. We loved the art, the comfortable seating, the great lighting system, the window blinds -- we loved it all. We also loved the location. We were visiting our son, who lives in a small shared house with other twentysomethings about a mile from where we were, so the location couldn't have been more perfect for our needs. But it's also a good location for biking or walking. We walked around the neighborhood, to the small market a block away, to the zoo about three blocks away, to the bosque about a quarter mile away, and along the river; we hoped the bus to Old Town. This was the perfect place for us; we hope to be able to stay here again on our next visit to Albuquerque. I recommend this home to a single person or a couple, especially if you like diverse neighborhoods and proximity to Albuquerque's downtown attractions.
