Our beautiful cottage-style home is a must-see! The French doors that serve as a front door, along with the windows across the living room and dining room provide breathtaking views of the trees and mountains. The beautiful dark hardwood flooring, vaulted ceilings and soft faux painted walls create a warm, inviting environment. The large kitchen is completely furnished for the gourmet cook with lots of sunlight from two skylights. After lunch, head downstairs to a cozy sitting room and curl up on the chaise lounge with a book, or take that much-needed afternoon nap. The large master bedroom boasts an antique queen-size bed and a walk-through dressing room that leads to the master bath, where you will find a slate tiled shower. Also downstairs is a large bath with two pedestal sinks and a garden tub/shower. There is a large laundry room complete with a front-loading washer and dryer, iron and ironing board. And last, but not least, tucked between the house and the detached heated garage, you will find a beautiful secluded patio/garden area.

My wife and I stayed in this home for most of the month of November 2012. If you are looking for a great place to stay for a visit to Hailey, we highly recommend this home. It is very comfortable, clean, and the pictures showing how nice it is are very accurate. The home and kitchen are very well appointed with everything we needed to prepare meals and feel right at home. The location is blocks from downtown Hailey, and very close to great hiking and biking. About the owner: During our 32 years in Hailey, we bought a 100-year-old house and restored it ourselves to its original Victorian-style glory, and then ran it as a bed and breakfast for 14 years. Running the B&B was wonderful... we entertained guests from all over the world. In 2006, after closing the B&B, we built a smaller home next door and eased into semi-retirement. We love the quiet existence surrounded by trees and fabulous views, but also love the freedom we now have to spend time with family and friends in other states. We hope you enjoy staying in our home and taking advantage of all that the Wood River Valley has to offer.
