  This large one bed room apartment in a quiet neighborhood was recently renovated. Very spacious with large kitchen. A short drive to town, the beach or the mountains. I highly recommend this apartment. The owners are very attentive to the guests and can offer many recommendations to suit your interests.

  My wife and I were pleased that the apt was even nicer in real life than the photos suggested - quite roomy, clean and comfortable with all of the creature comforts you might want. Our hosts went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and were ready to help with anything we might need. The unit has its own side entrance off the garage so you feel quite independent. The area has a lot to offer and 4 days wasn't quite enough time to take it all in but we enjoyed being part of the neighborhood for that short time and would recommend the apt. to anyone wanting to experience Kailua.

  From the first step up the stairway and into the 2nd floor living area, the Kauhale envelopes you in Hawaiiana. Patty's beautiful floral arrangements bring to mind the classiness of Old Waikiki during the "PanAm" years. Only a kid raised here (Honolulu) in the 50's can appreciate that. Their attentiveness to our needs and even anticipating them are second to none! Much Mahalo in making our first extended stay in Kailua a great one!

  Kauhale is a wonderful vacation rental that makes one feel more at home than on vacation. It is truly a home away from home in paradise. Very comfortable, everything you need and then some. You can tell Patty has paid particular attention to detail!! I lived in Hawaii for 13 years and I return quite often. This is the first place I stayed were I again felt like a Kama'aina instead of a visitor. I look forward to returning to Kauhale.

  An absolutely beautiful property with every comfort imaginable. The apartment was immaculate and so inviting. The proprietors were welcoming and extremely helpful. They provided fantastic recommendations for restaurants, activities, shopping, etc.. They bent over backwards to ensure we had a wonderful stay. This one is a favorite!

  This lovely apartment was just like home. It was better because we did not have to worry about a thing. Patti and Bob were our neighbors. If we needed anything, they were there for us. The apartment was clean, roomy, well furnished and comfortable. My neighbor and I shared.the apartment and wanted private space. There was a pull out sofa in the dining area that was very comfortable and a bedroom with a door for privacy. We loved being there and will return when we go back to Kailua. Lee and Anna

Your house is in a great location with beaches, hiking, great food and shopping all nearby. The resource book you made was very helpful in finding everything.   We had so many amazing adventures!! Castles Beach, Kailua Park Beach, Lanikai Beach.... And some fabulous hikes at Makapuu -Maunawili Falls -Kaiwa Ridge (pillbox) Such great memories we'll have forever :) * Enjoyed the Mai Tai at Pinky's (and watched TX/OU Basketball!) and Lychee Martini at Buzz's * great food at Kalapawai Deli/Market* * Snorkeling cruise on the Honi Olani where we swam with hundreds of fish and 3 sea turtles * all the special terats and comfortable accommodations here at Kauhale Hope to see you again soon!
