About the owner: My wife and I bought this property in December of 2011 in order to have a place for our children and grandchildren to stay when they visit. We have another condominium on the island that we stay in. As a child we would visit Longboat Key and just love the area. There are so many special events in the area that there is always something special to do.
Why the Owner Chose Sand Cay Beach:
Sand Cay is a wonderful resort property. Over the last several years the resort has under gone extensive exterior remodeling. The pool are and especially the beach will bring you back year after year.

For us it is all about the SUNSETS! Most evenings right before sunset groups join together with their refreshments to view the sunset and hopefully see the elusive GREEN FLASH!
