About: (Background info provided by homeowner) My husband and I grew up and still live in Montgomery County, Maryland. Both vacationing in Ocean City every summer with our families. We are thrilled we had the opportunity to buy this townhouse in one of our favorite vacations spots full of childhood memories.
Why Tamarindo: (Background info provided by homeowner) We chose this townhouse for several reasons. We can fit two families or our extended family comfortably. Love that we have guaranteed parking in our two car garage. And, light is important to us. We get plenty of sunshine during the day and just love how light and airy our home is.
This property is not just a vacation house for us. We've made it our 'home away from home.” One way we’ve done that is by decorating. We chose bright beachy colors and over the years we have been collecting things just for this home in our travels to add little personal decorating.
We are constantly entertaining guests and family. In order to accommodate having 8-10 people in the house and make it just that much more comfortable by doing a few small renovations. Our renovations have been small but have made a substantial difference. We've added plenty of hooks and closet shelves in each room so adults or a bunch of kids can comfortably share a hall bath and bedrooms. We closed in the partial wall between the master bedroom and master bath for more privacy and coated our garage floor to have a more finished look. My favorite renovation is putting a folding door on the first floor private bath in order to pull the bed away from the wall and to accommodate a 52 inch fan.
What we love most is rocking on our porch after a day of relaxing on the beach.
