  "Awesome!!!" Best place in the world to go ...Eric the owner is great the location is perfect Lake Como is beautiful and easy to navigate either by boat,bus or ferry everything is right there and the town of Pognano is peaceful ,beautiful and the people are so friendly and helpful!. Rent a boat it will be the best experience of the lake ever!

  Beautiful place and great people Lake Como is a beautiful place and the Lake Como Beach Resort is a great place to stay. The first morning we were there Eric the owner met us at our door, took us to the local grocery store to help us get supplies and introduce us and supplied us with maps going everything that there was to see and where they were located. It was this personal service that made the stay so special. Eric also helped us with bus and train times, getting to Switzerland, and helped us get to an out of the way restaurant that he suggested. The restaurant, Ristorante Bellavista, was amazing. Eric did all this despite the fact his wife was in the hospital with a broken pelvis. The rooms are clean with plenty of space. The views are amazing from the porch or second story balcony. There are grills and plenty of outdoor tables that we took advantage of for a one of a kind barbequing as Lake Como as our back drop. Lake Como is one of the most beautiful places on earth and you can't go wrong staying at Lake Como Beach Resort.   A Wedding in Paradise! On September 2nd, 2012 we celebrated our dream wedding on Lake Como at the Lake Como Beach Resort. Planning a wedding in Italy all the way from Canada didn't seem like an easy task but with the help of Robin and Eric it was possible and we can't thank them enough. They went above and beyond for us and we are privileged to now call them our friends! Our family and friends all stayed at the Beach Resort during "wedding week" and we all agreed it was the perfect place to stay. We spent six weeks in Europe and the villettas were by far our favorite; comfortable beds, spacious rooms, breathtaking views, amazing grounds and everything was extremely clean. We can't wait to go back and we have already began to recommend it to everyone we speak to. It was more like home than a holiday!   The best Italian experience !! Everything worked very well at the Lake Como Beach Resort, Eric gave excellent service, he is a good man.   This is the only holiday we have ever had where the owners description was not adequate enough to cover the beauty, of the lake, the quality of the complex, and the absolute dedication of the owners to ensure the best holiday you could have. Transport was arranged to "Salice blu" and "Bella vista" restaurants,and anywhere else you wanted to go. The ferry was only a short walk away, and we found it the most pleasant way to travel. The views of the lakeside villas, small lakeside towns, is stunning. true it could be difficult for people with mobility problems, but at 67 I managed just fine. There were plenty of children over the 3 weeks we stayed, from very young to mid teens, from all over Europe,and the United States, they played, swam," there are plenty of water toys to enjoy themselves, from morning to night. In full view of parents relaxing on the lido. The local supermarket is more than adequate, and the Cafe bar "Pepos" is brilliant. All in all, if you want to travel to the "Italian Lakes" you will not find a better place to stay, thanks to the dedication of Eric, Robin, and Giselle.

  "Great spot" We used public transport from Bergamo airport and around the Lake (train, bus, ferry), all excellent and on-time. This is a fabulous spot, with an excellent owner. The location requires a little planning (eg bus and ferry times), to get the best from your stay, and be prepared to walk uphill and down. Locally we walked around Pognana Lario and to Palanzo, along ancient footpaths, and could happily have spent our stay exploring the locality. As it was we went to Varenna and Bellagio and Como and Brunate as well. All worth a visit. The shop in Pognana has everything necessary for eating and drinking. Will. S. U.K

  It's the little things that count when renting a holiday home. This takes pride and a lot of hard work. It shows in this small private resort, away from all the noise of tourists. Villa Miya is just that . Our accomodations were beautiful and cozy too ! Private yet close to just about everything. Really centrally located on the lake. Robin and Eric have created a little paradise of their own, unique and unmatched anywhere in the Lakes area. We have visited this area many times and will make the Lake Como Beach Resort and our private Villa Miya ours, for future visits. We will surely be back, as we spend 5 weeks a year in Italy. Thank you both for a relaxing fun week. We could not have chosen better for our Wedding Anniversary. You two made the stay even more special.   What a wonderful surprise birthday present from my wonderful husband, mum and dad. A dream come true to finally make it to Lake Como and stay in a dream location with views to die for. I can't thank the owners Robin and Eric enough for their kindness and thoughtfulness. They arranged everything for us, from the amazing cooking class with a top notch Italian Chef from renowned Salice Blu in Bellagio, to a fantastic motor boat rental to Sala Comacina and setting up our day trips around the area. With so much to see and do, one week was certainly not enough time to experience everything we wanted to see. The villetta is perfectly located on Lake Como between Como Centro and Bellagio with the ferry crossing at just a few minutes walk. All necessities are within walking distance, grocery store, restaurants and the local transportation is easily accessible. Truly a place and property not to be missed.I shall never forget this birthday, my dream has been fulfilled. Brilliant holiday ! Simone London, U.

  We are a couple traveling from the South of Italy to the North and beyond...I found the villetta with only a few days before departing Rome. Robin answered promptly and made me feel comfortable with the booking. We arrived in Como and rented a car and did our shopping at the supermarket as Robin suggested. The directions were good but being a bit worn out from the trip it took a little longer than expected. The hosts, Eric and Robin are so kind and welcoming that this was not a problem and they greeted us as we struggled to park. They were also very helpful directions, restaurants and sights. The villetta is on two levelsfloor and rectangular in shape. It is separate from the villa next door and has the most incredible waterfront views. It is fully equipped with everything and we found it all very comfortable and not lacking in anything. With Wi-Fi being a must as we traveled we were happy to find it free and worked very well . In the near villages there are a couple of restaurants and small shops but you will want to venture to take full advantage of the area and scenery. Hop on the ferry within a fewminute walk away and rent a boat a must do. If you are active as we are, there are walking roads next to the villetta that could take you to the lake or through the mountain. The general area is very peaceful and beautiful. We hiked during the day and enjoyed nice meals in the villetta in the evenings. The drive around can be challenging but this is to be expected, so take your time. Overall we had an enjoyable and relaxing time in comparison to Rome. We rate this property 'excellent'. We would definitely return and recommend the property to friends and family.   My wife and I had a fantastic Honeymoon in Villetta Panoramica back in October. The property was lovely with everything we could possibly need. Very tasteful and stylish. We are hikers and enjoyed our daily hikes around the villages and towns on the lake. We were here for a two week Honeymoon. The villetta was centrally located on Lake Como where we were able to visit many other towns during our stay such as Lugano, Switzerland, Varenna, Bellagio, Bergamo, Milan and many other spots along the lake. We took a seaplane tour to visit the lakes by plane - really stunning from the air. We used the ferry on many days to get all over the lake, which was romantic, adventurous and fun. The customer care and service offered by Eric and Robin exceeded our expectations. A huge thanks to you both for making our stay, most memorable. The dining in Lombardy was wonderful and we especially liked the small quaint family owned restaurants scattered along the lakeshore. We will be back very soon as we come from Germany and have fallen in love all over again. Nick and Adriana, Hamburg, Germany
