Convenient to all the Outer Banks's amenities, but on a quiet street one block from the ocean. Views of the ocean and a great view of the Wright Brothers Memorial from the screened porch off the top level. We have WiFi broadband internet access - bring your laptop(s) and surf the internet for free.
Our vacation home has five bedrooms, four full and one half bathrooms. Bed linens are included. There are decks on the second and third levels. Game room with game/card/bumper pool table and Playstation Two (bring your favorite games!). Cable TVs with VCRs in every bedroom. Thirty-One inch TV with VCR and DVD in great room.
Dolphin’s Run is one of only three-hundred vacation homes in the Outer Banks enrolled in the YMCA Amenity Package. All tenants may use (for free!) the outdoor water park, the skate park, and the full indoor gym with classes. For the off season there’s an indoor pool to splash in, and for in season there’s a free night of babysitting so you can enjoy the Outer Banks night life.

Why the Owner Chose Kill Devil Hills
This home is located in the heart of Kill Devil Hills within easy walking distance of shops and restaurants. It is located one block back from beach road and far enough away from the bypass to maintain some peace and quiet.
The Unique Benefits at this House
I enjoy being close to the action in Kill Devil Hills but secluded enough that the traffic noise isn't a problem. The traffic is pretty light in this location and it is a nice area to walk the dog or let the kids ride their bikes.

My wife's family has vacationed on the Outer Banks for years. My first visit was with her shortly after we were married. We decided to purchase a house here and wanted to be close to the restaurants but still in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood with the ocean just one block away.

We had the pleasure of staying at Dolphin's Run in September of 2003 a couple of weeks after hurricane Isabel roared through. Even though the hot tub was not working, we had a FANTASTIC time. This was our first time renting a house at the beach and we would recommend Dolphin's Run to anybody. We were impressed with the layout of the house and also how clean and well equipped it was. Even though it was too cool for us to go in the ocean, we had a great time wading, walking on the beach and just relaxing. If I may, I would like to make a "pitch" for the YMCA immenity that came with this rental. Unfortunately, we didn't use it until the night before we left thinking that it would not be a big deal. That was a BIG MISTAKE! The staff was very friendly and helpful and there were plenty of activities for every member of our family! They have a beautiful indoor pool and hot tub. I could go on and on about the resturants,shops, and attractions in the area, but suffice it to say that the next time that we stay at the beach, it will be at Dolphin's Run.
