My husband, son and I stayed here when we came up for a campus tour at Montana State University. We loved this home's cozy, warm atmosphere, comfortable beds and especially relaxing in front of the fireplace! The kitchen is well stocked with tools for cooking. We loved the local shops and restaurants and the friendly people; and my husband and son enjoyed the spring skiing at Bridger Bowl. We hope our son chooses Montana State and if he does, we look forward to making this our home away from home when we visit him!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, people with disabilities, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We have been traveling back and forth from Minnesota to Montana for 37+ years to visit family. In the past, we have always been able to stay with relatives or get a motel room for a few days but that has changed since my parents have moved to an assisted living facility. This year we rented this adorable cottage and had one of the best Christmas's ever! My family not only skied but enjoyed extended family every day we were there. The house is beautifully finished and furnished and has a warm, welcoming feel. While it is described as a cottage, there is plenty of gathering room for visitors. We ended up doing most of the entertaining during our stay since our Montana families were ill at that time. It worked wonderfully to bring grandma and grandpa to the house. There is only one step up from the garage so the house is totally accessible. We did a little decorating on our own but wouldn't have needed to as the house is beautifully decorated with that Montana feel from beginning to end. The rental arrangements were handled professionally and in a timely manner. I would encourage anyone planning a trip to Bozeman to seriously consider this property. I enjoyed it so much I would like my husband to build me the same house in Minnesota! Thanks to Jody for all her caretaking.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, people with disabilities, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

About: We are Montana natives and currently reside in Scottsdale, Arizona. When we decided to build our vacation home that our entire family could enjoy, Bozeman was our one and only choice! We still have many friends and family members in Montana and we enjoy returning to the “Homeland” every year for a little R&R. We have lived throughout Montana and raised our family here until relocating to Arizona in 2003. Don graduated from MSU and Patty from MSUB.
Why Bozeman:
Now that our children have started families of their own, we wanted to give them and our grandchildren a place to call home in Montana and to be able to experience all it has to offer, especially the seasons! We chose Bozeman because of our many ties to the area and to be near our family when we visit. We love Alder Creek’s proximity to MSU, Museum of the Rockies, Hyalite Canyon, Sourdough Creek, Bogart Park’s Farmers Markets, walking and hiking trails and the great neighborhood parks.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
Our daughter, Erin, is an interior designer and she and Patty wanted our Montana home to be a beautiful place that was comfortable and welcoming for our family, friends, visitors and guests. They succeeded! We want our guests to look forward to relaxing in the living room, cozying up in front of the fireplace, enjoying a barbeque on the patio, or taking in the mountain view from the porch before escaping to their chosen bedroom for the night. Our Spring Ridge Cottage is our home away from home and we hope you come to know it as yours as well! Enjoy your stay!
