Enter into a front foyer with 10 foot ceiling, carved wood staircase, cozy living room to your right with wood burning fireplace, and large elegant dining room to your left, both with large picture windows looking out on to the lake. The large kitchen, off the dining room and toward the back of the home, has beautiful granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, and for you cook’s, a gas stove! The sitting room, just off the kitchen, allows additional space to curl up with a good book, gather with a small group to catch up, or watch TV. This home has been professionally decorated, with warm tones, and comfortable furnishings…you may not want to leave!
All of the bedrooms are on the second level, with a covered porch off the master and guest king bedrooms, allowing you to further take in the view. The new-shared bath has been completely renovated with new fixtures and glass enclosed tile shower.
You are just minutes from some of the best mountain, or leisure, biking around, white water rafting, rock climbing, hiking, canoeing, golf, Segway tour, a ride on America's favorite scenic byway, the Blue Ridge Parkway, or just kick back beside the built-in pool!

We recently stayed at the Biltmore Lake House for my sister’s birthday/bachelorette weekend. She wanted a low-key weekend with her friends and that is just what she got. The Biltmore Lake House sits right along Biltmore Lake. The front porch and upstairs balcony, as well as the expansive front yard, all offer a beautiful view of the lake and make for both an amazing sunrise and sunset. The home features lots of windows and an abundance of natural light. The master bedroom is especially impressive in the morning as the light floods into the room. No alarm clock necessary! The hosts have thought of everything from shampoo in the shower to k-cups for the Keurig. It is a such a relaxing and beautiful home, that we almost had trouble leaving to explore the city of Asheville. It was a memorable weekend for us all and this was due in large part to the awesome setting.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and loved the house. It was very spacious and clean, fully furnished (awesome beds and linens), and tastefully decorated with a beautiful view. And, Beth could not have been more pleasant in accomodating us. We highly recommend the property for anyone visiting the area. We would love to visit again!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Due to a death in the family, I was desperately seeking a rental home (just three days before Thanksgiving!) that could accommodate family travelling from all parts of the country. Miraculously, we discovered this property and could not have been happier. The location was perfect--just a bit west of Asheville. The setting was calm and beautiful. The bedrooms were exceptionally comfortable with luxurious linens. The bathrooms were very nice and the towels were very plush. We were planning a family Thanksgiving gathering with no preparation and we found the kitchen to be exceptionally well stocked with every type of cooking utensil we would possibly need. The children were entertained with the satellite TV and the WiFi capability. There is a nice selection of movies and games as well. We would love to return in the summer to enjoy the pool but the weather was only warm enough to sit BY the pool. The whole family enjoyed a stroll around the lake after our Thanksgiving meal was served. Beth, thank you for your flexibility and responsivenss to our family. This home made us want to return to Asheville (when the circumstances are a bit more pleasant).Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
