Eden on Lake Martin is a tranquil 4 Bedroom, 3.5 Bath lakefront home boasting a lake cabin feel, with all the luxuries of a newer home (built in 2008). From the wood floors to the detail of pine board walls, this lake home truly belongs on Lake Martin. Located at the end of a quiet cove surrounded by 100 acres of pristine land, this house offers plenty of wildlife watching and hiking, while the protected cove is perfect for swimming. With two docks, you can choose to fish off one and swim/boat off the other.
Beds: Queen, Queen, 2 sets twin bunk beds, plus 2 extra built in bunks. An inflatable mattress and crib are available as well.
The large screened porch, deep water and amenities makes this a great lake home to visit again and again. This lake home provides plenty of room for a larger gathering, with upscale appliances and a well stocked kitchen to prepare your favorite family meals.
The property is located on the Blue Creek arm of Lake Martin and is approximately 4 miles past Still waters Resort off County Road 34. Auburn is only 25 minutes away, Montgomery just 45 minutes and Birmingham/Atlanta less than 2 hours away, making this a great vacation guest house. A short boat ride will take you to Chuck's Marina, The Ridge, and Chimney Rock. Take a boat or car ride to Russell Lands to enjoy horseback riding, bike trails and shopping at Catherine’s Market.
Golf weekends are a favorite at Eden. Still waters Golf Course is 5 minutes away and Bobby Jones Golf Trail (multiple locations) all within 30 minutes.

morning coffee on the screened-in porch overlooking the cove (watching cranes and bald eagles)
fishing off the dock
watching kids hunt frogs along the lake bank
making great meals in the spacious kitchen
the ice maker, absolute favorite...never run out of ice for the coolers
lounging in the adirondack chairs on the dock
perfecting our dives or cannon balls:-)
playing the 'fish hook' game on the patio
roasting s'mores on the fire pit
the fun bunk beds for all of the kids (house sleeps 10+) and,
enjoying a wonderful meal with friends and family to wrap up a relaxing day as we watch the sun set

My husband and I have rented this place several times for long weekend getaways. Most recently we stayed at the end of Sep for our anniversary and played two rounds of golf at the nearby Robert Trent Jones Golf course about 20 minutes away. The amenities are top notch. Appliances are top of the line. We love hanging out on the dock in the late afternoon and enjoying a glass of wine. This house is located on a section where there is very little boating traffic, so it's private and serene. We use the fire pit in the evenings to make s'mores. It's the perfect place for families too with bunkbeds for 6, in addition to the other bedrooms. We plan to return for a few long weekends this summer/fall.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children.

Gorgeous, private home peacefully situated on a lovely, quiet corner of the lake. Roomy home easily accommodates two families or more. Very clean, feels brand-new.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children.
