EDGEWATER at Kiawah is a professionally decorated, Vanderhorst Plantation, luxury home nestled among mature oaks and magnolias on a half acre secluded lot overlooking a private pond where birds and other wildlife congregate.
This lovely, 2500-square-foot home is a 10 minute walk or a 5 minute bike run, to Kiawah's ten-mile-long private beach.
Brand new to the rental market, this executive home has a bright open plan featuring a split bedroom configuration. The guest wing features two large bedrooms and bath, a cathedral ceiling den/sitting room with a queen-size sleeper sofa and a TV/VCR/DVD. One guest room has a queen bed, the other has 1 queen and 1 double-size bed.
The vaulted ceiling master suite has a king-size bed overlooking a cozy gas fireplace, a 32" TV/DVD/VCR and serene nature views across the tree-lined deck to the pond. The bath features a jacuzzi tub with shower, a double vanity, and huge walk-in closet.
The glass wall sunken living room with pond views has a soaring ceiling and a gas fireplace for romantic atmosphere on those crisp fall and spring nights. There is a complete audio and video setup, TV/VCR/, with speakers hidden in the ceiling. Oak floors beautify the entrance foyer, dining room, and kitchen.
The open gourmet kitchen and dining area have water views across a screened, 300-square-foot porch which opens to a larger deck. The porch is a wonderful spot for breakfast while you observe the constant wildlife activity around the pond.
The kitchen boasts oak cabinetry, Corian counters, and both gas and electric cooking. There is a two-level island for casual in-kitchen dining. The dining area has a glass top table and eight designer chairs. The kitchen is stocked with pots, pans, and all the goodies you may need to prepare haute cuisine.
PETS: We will allow 1, well behaved, mature dog to vacation in our home. There is a $200 pet fee (not to be confused with a pet deposit) Please be aware that any damages caused by your dog will automatically be charged to your credit card on file.
RATES: Nightly rates are available. $300 per night (minimum 3 nights) plus cleaning fees and local & state taxes.
