My wife is from Rogers City and we were looking for a place to gather with my grown daughters to visit old friends and reminice about our visits in years past. We found the Lake House 180 the perfect place for our stay. The tasteful decour and furnishings are very nice and provide a comfortable and cozy feeling. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare some delicious meals from the local fish, produce and meats. The location is excellent and we walked to shopping and a nice organic cafe on 3rd street. The owner called to be sure we had what we needed for a comfortable stay and offed some valuable tips on sightseeing and history of the area. We entertained some family and friends and they all loved the decour and furnishings. It is across the street from the beach and marina, we enjoyed our morning coffee looking out on the lake Huron and the marina activity. This is a great location as a home base for enjoying water sports and outdoor activities. There are many day cycling routes out of Rogers City and we are planning a cycling vacation that incudes another stay at the Lake House 180. Our stay was wonderfulI and the description and appearance was accurate, I recommend it highly as a vacation property with charm and well maintained.Recommended for: Families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.
