Emerald Isle house description
..........you have your own pool and hot tub too.
Close your eyes and imagine...your day begins with a steaming cup of hot coffee in hand as you lean up against a mountain of pillows in bed and watch the waves crash against the shore for as far as your eye can see. Longing to spend the day just like this, you remember that the family is gathering in the upper gazebo, to watch the sunrise over the ocean. The sound of many voices speaking at once greets you, as you listen to them excitedly discuss the many options for the day.
And the options are many - day trips to sight see or shop in Morehead City, Swansboro, New Bern or even Wilmington, a ferry ride to Bear Island for shelling and solitude, a kayak ride in the ocean or among the shallows in Bogue Sound, a pontoon or power boat rental at a nearby marina, a bike ride into town along the bike path that winds through the island.
But with the morning progression, you day dream of watching the sunset over Bogue Sound while relaxing in the outdoor hot tub. You now ponder a leisurely day under the beach umbrella reading a novel while the kids dash in and out of the waves with their boogie boards and build enormous sand castles on the beach.
Our hunt for the perfect beach home occurred over eight or ten years. We visited resort towns in five states and found the friendliest beach with the best value and atmosphere right here in Emerald Isle. We wanted a clean, wide beach with sparkling blue/green ocean water just in reach so our access to the beach is simply a walk out of our front door.
And, would you appreciate having a selection of restaurants with delicious local seafood caught daily? Would you like them to be close by with no long lines to contend with? (Are you already getting the idea that we’re quite picky?) And as everyone knows, no one EVER goes to the beach to clean house or make beds. Upon arrival you will find the house clean with linens and towels that we provide laid out.
We wanted to make sure that our guests can invite plenty of friends and extended family. Beach houses are for sharing, and our beach house is so big you may lose someone if you’re not careful. Imagine the luxury of having two living rooms, one for the children and one for the adults.
Last but not least, Emerald Isle has all of the trimmings of most beach communities, but doesn’t overwhelm you and it keeps its prices to a manageable scale. You'll be able to start saving for next year!
We have included sixteen pictures on our web site to educate you. Seeing the pictures is important but it is a MUST to watch the VIDEO, which ties the pictures together and tells a complete story. For important and excellent area information please email us. We want to meet your needs rather than try to sell you something so check out Emerald Isle for yourself and ask any additional questions you have.
Like all owners we try to put our best foot forward but don't listen to us........see what past renters have said by reviewing the comments section.

BEST RENTAL YET!
BEST RENTAL YET!
Every September my family and I rent in Emerald Isle. This year the feedback from everyone was that this was the best one yet! The cozy comfortable feel of the home was surpassed only by the incredible view and beach access. We made memories this year and got some of the best pictures ever. Thank you for allowing us into your home!!!

Owner response: Thanks so much for your kind words. I love hearing that families get to spend happy time together.
Just spent a wonderful week with our family...kids and grandkids in this gorgeous home. We didn't have the best weather, but the incredible views from the house, the eclectic artwork and furnishings, and, of course, the pool and hot tub made for a fabulous family vacation! Everything about the house was made for family fun. My kids appreciated the second living room, the grandkids had fun in the pool with the floats, and the beach cart was super helpful at getting chairs and cabanas down to the beach each day. We are so very grateful that the Williams family shared this remarkable house with us that we will be returning in 2014 to savor it once again!!

Owner response: I'm glad you enjoyed my decor. My favorite is the painting of the two island women near the sliding door to the gazebo. It was done by a Pensacola artist whose work was featured in Coastal Living magazine. I, however, bought it at a yard sale in Maryland. Lucky me! Especially glad you appreciated the view. I have the same feeling when I go to my house that no matter the weather I'm in a very good place.
Great for the entire family!
Great for the entire family!
Wow! What a great place to gather as a family. It was even more beautiful than could be portrayed in the pictures, with accurate descriptions and a well-maintained property. May be a bit tight to fit as many as 12-14 people; we fit 9 comfortably with teens not sharing beds. Plus a bonus because of the pool and fabulous hot tub! Great entertainment and relaxation for all ages. The walk from the property to the beach is short and easy, but to the water is a bit longer. There is a wonderful bike path on the main road and good bikes available at the house. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking, serving, baking, etc. Also a well stocked closet for the beach with chairs, beach toys, and a cart to roll everything out. Very helpful owner, as well as an attentive property manager...Overall all nine of us highly recommend!!

Owner response: I appreciate the detail of your review. I particularly like people to be aware of the "extras" I provide like the bikes, beach chairs/carts, etc. Thanks so much for that. I may have said this in prior responses but one of the main reasons I like to rent my beach home (beside the income) is to be able to share it with people who want to hang out and have reunions.
Great home and killer view

Had the opportunity to stay a long weekend with female cousins at this great house. Well appointed with lots of space in main living room as well as bedrooms and baths. Hot tub was perfect for Jan weather!! The view from the upstairs general area is absolutely jaw- dropping!!!

Perfect for family vacation
Perfect for family vacation
This house is wonderful - spacious and open in design, ample space for meals, puzzle making and family games, so full of sunshine, plenty of space to curl up with a book, a great kitchen with more than ample plates, utensils, etc., comfortable sleeping areas, and all the bathrooms we could possibly need. And this was just the inside..... Outdoors, around the pool or up in the gazebo were some of our favorite spots. Lots of pictures were shot from there. And, of course, there's the beach just a hop, skip and jump away. I don't know what I could possibly recommend to improve the place - it was just perfect for us. Hopefully we'll have a chance to return to 100 Bogue Court in the future for more family vacations. Thanks for providing it for renting.

Great house and location
Great house and location
This was our first year renting this house and we absolutely loved it. The location is great, not much traffic and the beach is just across the street, couldn't ask for anything more. Everything we needed was right at our fingertips, from the chairs for the beach, bikes to ride around the neighborhood and everything needed to cook our meals. The kids had a great time too and there was plenty of things to keep them busy. They could swim at the beach or in the pool while we relaxed and enjoyed the weather and scenery. It was beautiful in the morning sitting in the gazebo enjoying the ocean, the breeze and a cup of coffee. We will definitely be back to rent this house again. Thanks for the great time!!

Perfect Family Home
Perfect Family Home
Just returned from the most phenomonal family beach vacation. This home is perfect - the "extras" the owner includes, such as lots and lots of beach chairs, beach toys, pool toys, games, movies, etc. The kids ages 15 - 2 years all had so much fun and we did not need to pack lots of things to keep them occupied. The house itself is great, a family room on the first floor so the kids could watch movies while the adults had some peaceful moments on the second floor. The proximity to the beach was perfect - morning set up our spot on the beach, back to the house for lunch, more beach time, then relax in the pool late afternoon. And of course, the hot tub after the kids were settled in for the night. It just doesn't get bettter than this property - we all decided to do this property again in two years!

Owner response: Thanks to you Nana and Family. I had many wonderful renters this summer (and a few yet to go). You and yours were part of making this a great season for me as an Emerald Isle beach homeowner.
This was our 7th year and we already booked for our 8th year. The place is great! We fill up the bedrooms with our families and still have room for everyone should they want to do something differant! Every year we rent kayaks from Hot Wax for several days and kayak the ocean and the bogue. The biking around the island is great from the bike paths to the off road trails that we found. There is a good variety of resturants to choose from. My daughter had her wedding on the beach 3 years ago and we had the reception underneath the house! Our families enjoy our stay and can't wait till next year!

Owner response: Best renters ever. Keep coming back, Fred, Rose and the rest of your wonderful group!!!!
We cannot begin to tell you what a wonderful vacation we had at this house! The house was amazing and it offered everything we needed from pots and pans to pool toys for the kids. We found that we ate together as a family at the big table each morning and night and had some very interesting conversations. Cocktail hour in the gazebo was a hit with the adults! It is very evident that you put your heart and soul in this house from the funky fish decorations to cleaning of the pool. We are already planning another trip.
