This unique, single-family home is located at the end of a dirt road and abuts the state forest. Backroads lead you to the surf beach (southside of island, near surfside beach) about one and a half miles away. Trails through the state forest are great for hiking and easy mountain biking. Awesome for children! Bring or rent bikes.

This location allows easy access to the beach, town, and the airport (about ten minutes to all). Local restaurants and fish market are walking distance away (less 0.5 mile). Very convenient, yet completely private.
Inside living area completely remodeled with modern everything... Two dishwashers for active use, pine floors, master bedroom opens out onto the wrap-around porch. Outside shower. Upstairs reading nook for quiet time. Warm, and peaceful getaway. Top floor has 2 bedrooms (2 twins and 2 queen beds) and two bedrooms down (master king sized bed, and 2 twin beds).

We've been going to Nantucket for 20 years and have stayed at this home the past 5 summers. We were thrilled when we found this home and have been back every year since, including Christmas. The house is amazing and perfect for a family or large group. A great location, close to town and the beach, yet you still have privacy. The state forest is basically in your back yard for wonderful walks and shortcut to the beach. When we stay here we feel like we're at home vs a rental. It has that cozy feel with plenty of space. The master bedroom and bath are incredible. The huge tile master shower has 2 shower heads and a luxury sunken tub. Master bedroom has a french door to the deck and beautiful grounds where we enjoy our morning cup of coffee. Four big bedrooms that sleep 10. My favorite room is the family room with a huge stone fireplace, open to the kitchen, dining room, and large wrap around deck. It is the heart of the house. The kitchen has everything you need and I love the new fun beach look. There is also a living room for those that want to curl up with a book or separate place for the kids to hang out and watch their shows. This is the best deal on the island, a real hidden treasure. We love staying here and are happy to recommend this property.

We stayed at this home at the end of the 2011 summer for two great weeks. The home is beautifully laid out with a spacious great room, kitchen island and dining area large enough to seat many guests staying in the 4 big bedrooms. We had great times on the porches wrapping around the house with guests after a day at the beach. The large back yard was perfect for entertaining. Very convenient location close to town and beachs, and the house has all of the amenities you could need. We are dying to go back to this great house.
