We found the unit to be as represented on owner listing sheet. Very nice furniture along with 2 TVs, great location for walking and views. We enjoyed the pool area and enjoy the small town atmosphere.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, girls getaway.

Although this condo is in a very attractive well kept complex we experienced problems with this unit: 1.) Condo is listed as wheelchair accessible ~ we expected an elevator for a 2nd floor condo. There is only a stairway. This presented a problem for us. 2.) This small condo is overburdened with large furniture and large decorative items making it seem very crowded. Cupboards and cabinets are packed full of way too many things and personal items. Regarding appliances, the washer and dryer are in good working condition. The stove, microwave and refrigerator are older (not as described) and have some issues with use. Oven was not used because of concerns it was a fire hazard ~ drawer beneath oven was filled with personal items, papers and batteries. 3.) It appears the patio has not been touched in a very long time. The chairs and swing are not really usable (even after attempts to clean) and therefore the patio could not be utilized as we'd hoped. 4.) It took us 10 days, the purchase of an ethernet cord and many hours spend with Cox Comm. before we could establish internet service. The owner had covered the needed info on back of the router and then could not remember her password. It was 2 weeks and more hours of time before a Cox tech was called to come and we had audio with our TV. The owner felt she could help us with these problems but could not. 5.) Most alarming was coming back to the condo at 9:30 PM after a day away and finding we had no running water. A call to the local water company that night established the water had been turned off due to nonpayment. Calls made to the owner's cell phone x 3 went unanswered for a week. (Calls from the owner up to this point had been frequent.) Water service was restored after we paid the $75 bill the next day. A message was left on our cell phone during our drive home from the owner saying the water problem was all due to a mistake by the water company and she was very sorry. She offered to send us a check. At this point in time we have chosen not to respond to that last call and are asking for no further contact with the owner. As things stand now we would not recommend this condo as suitable rental property, particularly at the rental rate charged.Owner response: I must admit: I was in shock about the response of my March tenants. They asked me IF they could stay another day (after Easter Sunday for free, to spend with relatives...I said you can stay for $-free until my next tenant arrives on April 7 - 7 days for FREE for them) 1.) Tenant NEVER-EVER asked if my Condo Complex has an ELEVATOR. As, I listed - it has 'wheel-chair assistance ramps' in parking lot. NOTE: I listed tenant age from age 35-80. . . David (tenant) celebrated his 85th Birthday during their stay in my Casita - FYI - they lied about their age. 2.) PICTURES DON'T LIE - HOW can lease tenant 'complain' about size of furniture & decorative items...as, everything is shown in each room -duh ? Plus, this is a 650 sq. ft. Casita - so natually kitchen cuboard & cabinets offer a limited amount of storage. I gutted this Casita out, totally in May 2008: so, everything was NEW (except the 6-7 yr old microwave) I purchased NEW Whirlpool Duet washer/dryer, new refrigerator, new stainless steel dishwasher, and 4 NEW Electric Stove Burners - I can prove with 'receipts' = from 2009 - December 2012. I have always put my home appliance brochures, hammer, wrench, tools and batteries for home clocks and remotes in the bottom drawer of my electric stove.... Tenant said she DIDN'T use the OVEN, because of this (that is her fault, as it was NOT A FIRE HAZARD, period) 3.) OUTDOOR PATIO . . . 'LOOK' at PICTURES on my listing. I paid Lowes $250 each for the 2 very thick cushioned wicker patio chairs = $500. Plus, I paid $300 for the 3-person SWING. NO wheelchair can get out patio door, period. 4.) I told Tenants - I $-prepay my Cox Communications(tv/cable/internet) carrier IN-HOME SUPPORT in my monthly bill. W H Y she waited 10 days to get her computer on-line - IS HER FAULT, not mine. I also paid $150 to Home Theater Co to set-up Cox Remote to turn on 5.1 surround system, blue ray, netflix - just by holding down the ON BUTTON for 10 seconds, and it took them about a week to GET IT. 5.) I CALLED every day - first week to my Arizona land-line phone - and TOLD THEM TO 'PICK UP MY CALL' ...to see if they needed help ? Dec 2012: I sent my Chapparral Water bill - CHECK PAYMENT (along with their: 'auto-payment paperwork with my Chase Bank BLANK CHECK - VOIDED...to set-up AUTO-PAY as of January 2013' I had zero clue, that Chapparral Water didn't 'set-up my auto-pay' ? Tenant NEVER called #1 phone listing on VRBO ???

We found this unit was represented like the picture, very nice furniture and great TV. If a problem would arise the owner would take care of things. Great location with nice pool area. We enjoyed our 2 month stay.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, girls getaway.
