Serene Location without being too far off from the main road
This house have two major features that you will come to love. One is the kitchen, which is where we spend most of our time anyway and it's easy to see why from the pic. And the second is the indoor two car garage that lead you into the house without going out, it simplified a lot of the hassle regarding to loading and unloading luggage and stuff. Throughout the house, I haven't notice anything unclean so overall upkeep is excellent and no complain on their heating either. The rooms are all roomy enough, but they all come in different sizes so you have to plan ahead in accommodating your guests. My friends seem to compliment on the quality of their bedding, and they also seems to well kept as well. There are three bathrooms but with one of them locate within the suite it basically turns this into a two bathrooms house. The down side are that the living room seems outdated comparing to the rest of the house, the basement could be re-modify to be more useful either for entertainment or extra guest room, and an added hot tub right on the deck would make this house a top pick in this area. Yet, these are all the things the renter should know lacking before going in. I also gets to enjoy the Quechee fitness center with their pool and sauna. It's less than 10 mins away and cost $10 to use. Also the small town nearby are quite charming as well, so overall the experience are quite positive and most of us enjoy our stay.

We had a great time at this house. It is conveniently located only a few miles away from major interstate highways, so it was very easy to get to. However, it is built in the middle of the woods and the scenery is just wonderful. The interior was clean, newly renovated, and well-maintained. The amenities were adequate to satisfy even a large and busy group of people. The highlights included comfortable beds, ample space in a modern kitchen, cozy living room with a nice fireplace, bedrooms with plenty of natural light, master bedroom with Jacuzzi and walk-in shower, huge porch and basement, lots of closet spaces, indoors double garage. There were quite a few places to explore in the area, such as restaurants, farms, brewery, local shops, skiing and indoors pool at the Quechee country club (there is a discount on daily guest passes) and the traditional town of Woodstock.

As expected and more! Great get away with girlfriends to relax, laugh and sightsee. This home is just as it appears in the pictures, everything you need, clean, spacious with the feeling of being at home. Need to visit Quechee Gorge Village Shoppe with all the antiques to recall your childhood days, Shepards Pie Restaurant and Simon Pierce glass blowing shop. Your close to Woodstock for some shopping and lunch. This is a great place to stay if you have a large family to ski or just want to kick back with your girlfriends. Of course you can always take a drive north for a tour of the famous Ben and Jerry's ice cream.

It is a beautifull , huge house . We enjoyed it very much. I just have one recomendation, It has a huge basement, 100 percent unused. It would be a lot of fun if you would put some games in there ( etc pool table, ping-pong table, video games)

SHORT TERM RENTAL AGREEMENT 81 Hiram Atkins Byway, Quechee, VT 05059 This Short Term Rental Agreement (the “Agreement”) is made by and between Robert Gerlack (“Homeowner”) and _____________________ (“Guest”) as of the date of electronically accepting this agreement. For good and valuable consideration, the sufficiency of which is acknowledged, the parties hereby agree as follows: 1. Property. The property is located at: 81 Hiram Atkins Byway, Quechee, VT 05059. The property is furnished and includes linens, towels, furnished kitchen. 2. Rental Party: The rental party shall consist of Guest over 25 years of age and no more than 11 other guests. 3. Maximum Occupancy: The maximum number of guests is limited to 12 persons. 4. Term of the Lease. The lease begins at 4 pm on _____(the “Check-in Date”) and ends at 11 a.m. on _____ (the “Checkout Date”). 5. Minimum Stay: This property requires a 2 night minimum stay. 6. Rental Rules: Guest agrees to abide by the Rental Rules attached as Exhibit A at all times while at the property and shall cause all members of the rental party and anyone else Guest permits on the property to abide by the following rules at all times while at the property. 7. Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We suggest you bring beach towels. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the house. 9. Fireplace: The fireplace in the basement may be used. Please do not throw any paper or other combustible materials in the fireplace. The fireplace in the living room is not to be used. The gas fireplace in the kitchen may be used. 10. Water and Pump Station: The house is on a well and pump station. The pump station is very effective; however, it will clog up if improper material is flushed. DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper. No feminine products should be flushed at anytime. If it is found that feminine products have been flushed and clog the septic system, you could be charged damages. 11. Storms: No refunds will be given for storms. Gravel drives are well maintained; however, we recommend four wheel drive during the snow months. We do not refund due to road conditions. You are encouraged to purchase cancellation protection offered to you through the reservation manager. The parties agree to the terms of this Short Term Rental Agreement, as evidenced accepting the agreement before paying.

About the owner: In 1994 we moved our family of 7 from Florida to Quechee Vermont and made Vermont our home. Our ancestors moved to Vermont in the Mid 1850's and after moving here we understood why. We quickly fell in love with the Quechee people, amenities and life style. From skiing, basketball, golf, tennis, hiking, or just a day at the Lake Pineo, there was never a lack of fun activities for the family. Recently, we purchased a lakefront home just 1/2 hour from Quechee and we still enjoy the 4 seasons resort.
