  The house is a five minute drive to either Chapaquoit Beach or Wood Neck Beach. The coastal, 14 mile long, Shinning Sea Bike Path is 1/2 mile away and easily accessible by bike. Scenic West Falmouth Harbor and the quaint New England village of West Falmouth are 1 1/2 miles away. The old fishing village of Woods Hole is 5 miles away and provides easy access (via ferry) to Martha's Vineyard. The community of Woods Hole has four world premiere scientific organizations based in it (the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, The Marine Biological Laboratory, The United States Fisheries Service and the United States Geological Survey. There are over 54 Nobel Laureates associated with Woods Hole. The Village Green of Falmouth Center is 4 1/2 miles away. Falmouth has beaches as well and a variety of dining and shopping opportunities. Twenty six percent of the 48 square mile area that constitutes the Town of Falmouth is in open space.
