Fox Meadows cottage on Quadra's southeast side looks across Sutil Channel to BC's mainland Coast Mountains. Ideal for families or couples, our cottage combines contemporary West Coast design with modern urban comfort. Close to many of the island's natural attractions.
Prepare gourmet meals in the open concept fully equipped kitchen. There is in floor heating throughout. A peaceful sleep awaits you in one of 2 bedrooms: The master has a king sized bed with ensuite bathroom, the second a loft with a queen bed. There is one bathroom with a walk in steam shower. Your days can be spent golfing at the brand new Quadra Links golf course just a short car ride away, soaking in the sights and sounds on We Wa Kai beach, or meandering through one of the many forest trails. I stayed here in July with some girlfriends. It was perfect! The place itself is amazing. It is immaculate; clean and bright- everything feels fresh. The decor is West Coast and very modern. All ammenities for cooking (and having some wine with the girls!) was there. The shower is amazing! Definitely a highlight. Outside the lawns and gardens are spectacular. So many flowers- and the grass is perfectly manicured, but you also get the feeling of wild and away from the city and suburbs. the ocean view is such a treat. It's a perfect place for a retreat of any kind- away from the city, romantic, girls weekend, taking the kids for an adventure. The owners of this place are very kind and did an amazing job ensuring we had everything we needed. The island itself is charming and idylic. Should be a part of everyone's summer plans! A SOLID five stars from me.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

I have stayed at Fox Meadows Cottage 3 times and each time have thoroughly enjoyed my stay. One of my favorite features of this cottage has to be the steam shower which is the perfect way to relax. The cottage is beautiful, clean and modern with post and beam vaulted ceilings, and a fully stocked kitchen. I would highly recommend this place to anyone planning a trip to Quadra!Recommended for: Age 55+, people with disabilities, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

About the owner: Anne and don Doolittle have lived on Quadra since 1976. We are self employed and run a landscape company and Rhododendron nursery. We like to play tennis, golf, and kayak.
