The perfect place for your next vacation spot. This one of a kind Victorian, updated and restored home has 3 bedrooms, 2 1/2 bathrooms, a parlor with a petite grand piano, living room with large screen television, fully equipped kitchen with an 'old fashioned' new gas stove with convention electric oven, coffee maker, toaster, microwave. We have a laundry room with front loading washer and dryer, iron and ironing board. One bedroom with a queen bed, one bedroom with a king bed, and one bedroom with a queen and extra long twin bed. There is also a queen sleeper sofa. All beds are new with luxurious bedding, spa towels, and fluffy pillows. Plenty of closet space. The upstairs has a playroom for the children, and a flat screen TV with a blue-ray player. Free WIFI and cable television with plenty of channels. Park your vehicle in the 2 car garage, then head upstairs and play pool on the Olhausen Anniversary Edition Deluxe pool table, play foosball, and watch a game on the 42' flatscreen tv. The game room is equipped with a mini fridge and microwave, and conversation areas. The back deck of the house has outdoor furniture for those warm days you want to eat outside.

Owner info
Year Purchased: 1991
About the owner: Keith and Lynn Brothersen, owners of the home, bought the house from Lynns parents' estate. The house was purchased in 1991 by Ed and Dorothy Valentine, and beautifully restored. Both mom and dad have passed on, but have left a beautiful home behind for us to enjoy. Lynn is a soldier in the US Army; Keith is a retired mechanic capable of fixing anything and everything. We live in Mount Pleasant as well, but clear on the other side of town.
Why the Owner Chose Mt. Pleasant:
Sanpete County is close to the city, but far enough away that even Utahns will want to come and experience country life at the Carriage House. In the summer there are festivals and events every weekend, and there is plenty to do in the winter too. Not only can you get away from it all, you can now do it in style and comfort at the Valentine Carriage House. This home was built in 1906. It was restored to original beauty by 2006, and upgraded with the addition of the two story garage. If you have ever wanted to live like a pioneer, now is your chance.
The Unique Benefits at this Farmhouse:
We are the only vacation rental home in Mount Pleasant, where you can have the entire house! No running into strangers in the hallway (unless you invite them), and where else can you snowmobile or ATV all day, then actually park your toys in a garage? There is also plenty of driveway parking as well. There are three decks on the house, to relax and enjoy the beautiful mountain views. We also own the entire city block, so these fabulous views are unobstructed. Come see us, you will never want to leave!
