  View with a personal touch! We stayed in the Villeta Tranquillita #11. The location is great and we had a lovely view. We left the French doors open at night and were lulled to sleep by the lapping of the water against the shore. The kitchen was very functional and the bed and linens were as well. There were little things here and there that may not have been ideal however they are easily overlooked because of the kind, sincere, amazing personal touch of the owners. Poor Robin incurred a major injury horseback riding so we did not have the pleasure of meeting her but we met her other half, Eric. From the moment we showed interest both Robin and Eric responded quickly to our emails answering all of our questions and upon arrival Eric helped with arranging boat service, giving us a ride, and just simply being there when we needed something. He was a terrific host! We would come back again in a heart beat and recommend it if you are looking for a relaxing, small town, authentic feeling.   If you are looking for excellent family accommodations and facilities on Lake Como where you can swim, rent a boat on the jetty or just relax on the lido and be close to all the sites, yet still have your privacy, then this little resort is the perfect place to stay. We felt so fortunate to have had the Lake Como Beach Resort recommended to us by our German friends, who stayed there in June. They described it brilliantly. In fact, we thought it may have been too good to be true and were pleasantly surprised on our arrival. It beat all of our expectations. It was tops in quality and so very well maintained.Our two children never wanted to leave and cried on departure. Staying in such a lovely accommodation made our family holiday that much more special. Our family truly enjoyed the property with it's many amenities, the grill outdoors and the magnificent views of Lake Como. Our hosts were a delight and could not have been more helpful and accommodating. We as a family would like to make it our yearly holiday. I am planning a romantic trip back for my husband and I for our anniversary. Eric, you are a star ! The Lambert Family Essex, England

  Amazing!!! Actually, our stay at lake Como Beach Resort was beyond amazing..it couldn't have been better! It began with our initial arrangements with the owners, Robin and Eric, who were so easy to work with and accommodating. We were sure we were going to have a great vacation. Upon arrival, Eric was there to meet us, and he and Robin were fantastic throughout our stay, helping us with so many little trings that had nothing to do with the villa, including our car issues, our GPS and phone problems, etc. They just couldn't do enough. Both are lovely people, as is their daughter, and we hope they are now friends for life! Second - the location: unbelievable - we felt like we were in a postcard the entire time. The villetta sits right at water's edge, from where you have magnificent views of the lake , mountains, and surrounding villages. We felt so at peace while we were there. Third - the viletta itself - spacious, comfortable, immaculate, with unbelievable views!   Stunning Location, Gorgeous Villetta and Excellent Service! Villetta Tranquillita is situated on the corner near the BBQ area which was perfect for us as we could enjoy our dinner outside and be close to our baby sleeping. The views from the villetta are amazing, I particularly loved having a leisurely breakfast on the balcony. Simply stunning. We arrived in a terrific thunderstorm which made for an interesting drive from Milan, especially the drive down to the villetta, but once you've done it, it's fine the second time! Eric is a fantastic host, making sure we had everything we needed for the baby and giving good recommendations of where to eat locally.   We could not have chosen a more ideal spot to spend our Lake Como Holiday. The personal and caring serive of the owners Eric and Robin with their lovely daughter Jiselle went way beyond the call of duty. We have never experienced such personal service from any holiday rental. Eric was there every day with information and help from grocery shopping to car hire, to driving us to the cooking class. It was quite amazing really. Service like that is not available at a five star hotel ! The stay was exceptional and we would return in a heartbeat. In fact we already have plans to retun next year for our anniversary. The views are stunning and majestic from the waterfront. You can't get any closer to the waters edge without jumping right in. Loved having the waterfront right at our doorstep, literally. It is nice to have a car but you certainly don't need one. We used the public transport to get everywhere. The Villettas had everything we needed and were fully equipped. Beautifully decorated and very comfortable. This place stands out above all others for many reasons, Location, Waterfront , Accommodations - The most important thing of all was the Excellent Level of Personal Service and Customer Care given to each and every Guest that stayed with you. That is what sets you apart from all the rest. No-one could do this better. It was truly beyond 5 star!! Thank you for that.

  Rated: 5 of 5 Outstanding accommodations and Stunning Location ! The Lake Como Beach Resort was an outstanding resort with everything and more than we had hoped for in an accommodation. Truly 5 stars. The villettas were well equipped with all mod cons as well as very tastefully decorated and exceptionally well maintained. The service is impeccable, spotless and beautifully kept. Gorgeous balcony views as well as stunning gardens that overlook the lake from everywhere including our bedroom and living room. The location on the lake is stunning absolutely to die for ! Location, Location, This is it ! Eric and Robin were wonderful hosts that made us feel like family, very welcoming and warm people who went out of their way to ensure their guests were comfortable and had everything they needed. The Holiday rental is run more like a 5 star hotel than a holiday rental and we did not expect to receive the service we were given. Outstanding accommodations in every way. Well done, you have an ecxceptional resort here. The resort is very private and quaint and hidden away from all the tourist traps which was what we were looking for. Close to everything but tucked quietly away for peace and tranquility. What a find ! A real Gem !   Fantastic base for chilling out and enjoying lake Como We spent a week exploring Lake Como and were so pleased we'd chosen Villa Tranquillita as our base. The location is perfect - one of the few complexes we saw with its own jetty, 'beach' and gardens right on the waterfront. Our apartment was clean, spacious and well appointed with modern fittings, a well equipped kitchenette and a comfortable bed. There is a ferry landing stage less than 5 minutes walk from the apartment where you can catch one of the ferries that make scheduled trips up and down the lake and there is a great grocery shop on the road above which has a butcher's counter and a decent selection of wine, cheese and all the other necessities. A special mention for the proprietor, Eric, who went out of his way to make us feel welcome. He also helped me out of a little jam I'd gotten into with my rental car in a nearby town and literally saved the day. A true gentleman and he and his wife Robin deserve every success with their venture.   Wonderfully peaceful and relaxing week in the best spot on the lake. The initial views from the clifftop lift are breathtaking (to say nothing of the very exciting drive in but you have to experience that to understand it!) The accommodation exceeded my expectations and if anything, the website pictures do not do it justice. Eric and family are fantastic hosts and made the holiday so memorable. The local store was perfect for everything we needed and I would highly recommend the fresh produce (especially the meat counter!) The other guests were a wonderful mix of honeymooners, families with preschoolers, families with teenagers - there really is something here for everyone. The complex has an intimate feel and yet plenty of privacy and there is everything you need for a peacfeul day by the lake if you don't want to stray too far from your sun lounger. A daily swim from the jetty directly into the lake was a real highlight. All in all, the Villetas are a wonderful find and I hope to make many return visits!

  Outstanding Resort with Spectacular Views My husband and I had a spectacular holiday at the Lcbr this summer and cannot say enough. Eric and Robin run a top notch small resort that caters to guests from around the world. It was like a little United Nations. Guests with varied backgrounds. Wonderful warm and welcoming feeling. One feels like family and it can't get better than that. Everyone is made to feel unique and special. Eric qand Robin have something very special here that they offer all their customers. A unique kind of service that is 5 star. The most expensive hotels in the world do not offer this kind of caring, professional unique service, where one is treated like a king and queen and made to feel so very special.   "A perfect place to relax and enjoy the lake" We cannot rate this place highly enough. My wife and I travelled to the Beach Resort with our 9 month old daughter. It was a lovely place to have kids on holiday - there is a lovely grassed area by the waterfront where you can sit and relax while your little ones play in the paddling pool or with the many toys at the place. Just a quick run off of the jetty and you can take a quick swim in the very clean lake. Location of the place is excellent with a short drive to both Como and to Bellagio. Amenities can be bought in the local shop which is a short walk (up a very steep hill though!). The shop has a lovely deli where you can get some lovely food for each evening for the built in Bbq's at the resort by the waterfront. We had some lovely evenings with the baby in bed sitting outside with a bottle of wine and the BBQ firing away! Many thanks to Eric, Robin and Jiselle for making our stay very enjoyable. They were on hand for everything we wanted and Jiselle helped out loads with our little one - Amelie says hello! Would recommend this place - nice location, nice residence and great for kids.   Entspannender und romantischer Uraub! Wir sind eine österreichische Familie mit 2 Kindern (13 und 15 Jahre alt) und wir sind bei dem Urlaub jeder auf unsere Kosten gekommen. Die Betreuung war super nett (an dieser Stelle vielen Dank an Eric und Robin!!) Die Villetta Tranquilla, die wir hatten, war sehr ruhig und angenehm kühl in der Nacht. Der Comersee ist sehr romantisch und erholsam. Das Klima ist absolut gut verträglich und auch im Juli nicht so heiss und auch der See hat eine angenehme Temperatur.   Hello Robin, We all had a fantastic time at the Beach Resort – it is a perfect spot to relax and take in the lake, especially with a small child. I don’t think we could have found a better spot to stay with a small baby, so thanks for everything. Thanks again for a lovely stay at your place – we loved it and will certainly recommend. Amelie slept the whole way as soon as the plane took off to the time she was placed in her cot at home, so we had a lovely flight home too! Thanks, John, Lou and Amelie.

  Our experience at the Lake Como Beach Resort went beyond words. We enjoyed our week there and made new friends for life. The lido and gardens as well as BBQ area were used quite frequently with the meats we had bought from the local butcher shop in Pognana Lario, within walking distance of the villettas. It was very convenient having our own private parking space on the property. We used the public transportation much of the time but were happy that we rented the car to go to Switzerland for the day, Milan and Bergamo for day trips around the lake. We went to Bellagio by ferry and then to Varenna where we had lunch. Hiked Monte Generosa. Try the Funicolare up to Brunate. Rent a boat to travel the lake for a few hours, just ask Eric or Robin and they will help you. Nothing was too much trouble for them. They are the best ! Really, top notch accommodations for the price as well as best location on the lake. All around 5 Stars ! Two Sisters from Queensland Australia

  My wife and I honeymooned here and it would be an understatement to say it was 'perfect'. All our special requests and more were taken care of, including rose petals and champagne on arrival at our apartment.   We could not have rated this property any higher as it could not have been more perfect in every way. The weather while we were just there in April, felt like a June day. The Lake was quite stunning really. The resort is in a very tranquil, quiet and very peaceful spot cebtrally located on Lake Como, just minutes to Bellagio and Como Centro. We arrived for our Anniversary and were very surprised to have our expectations way surpassed. It does not happen often. Yet this Villetta and resort surprised us and was so much more than we had ever expected or anticipated. It was a wonderful, memorable and very pleasant experience. There is something here for everyone, couples, families and very private. The ferry dock is just a few feet away on foot where you can hop on and go to Bellagio or Como. It will bring you all over the lake to it's many villages along the way. Lake Como is one of the most beautiful and scenic places in Itaky and now our favourite. We are a very particular couple who like things just so. We appreciate excellent taste, superb quality as well as top accommodations and of course stunning views. The resort has it all! We woulkd like to offer a special thanks and thank you to our excellent hosts and owners Eric and Robin for putting up with our infinate questions they so plesantly helped with and answered. 5 Star customer service and care.   This is a very magical little romanitc resort on the waterfront. We were so pleased that we had chosen to stay at the Lake Como Beach Resort villas. Our villetta was lovely, beautifully decorated and very stylish. Spectacular lake views from the master bedroom and balcony and all over the property. The customer service was excellent and we cannot wait to return. We especially enjoyed Eugenios Pizzeria in Nesso and the Bella Vista Restaurant in Veleso as well as Il Pontile in Nesso. We are looking forward to returning as soon as we are able to this special place. It was a bit depressing going back home, after being on Lake Como for a week.   Our villa was just as stated in the ads in fact it was even better than the pictures online. I dont think any pictures can do this location justice. You have to be here. This was our first trip to Lake Como and not our last. This is an amazing place to visit. We came to see the F1 racing in Monza and stayed at the resort. It was an easy drive and returning to this wonderful place each evening was heaven. It was an amazing week. Exciting, relaxing and romantic all in one. Our memories of this place shall live in our memories for years to come. This is a top notch little resort with amazing owners who could not have been more gracious. Thank you both for an amazing week there. Our villa was new and modern with all the conveniences. Being right on the waterfront and beach added to the magic of this Lake and property. Great restaurants all around the villettas. We also enjoyed having the ferry within walking distance from our villa.

  We had a great time at Lake Como Beach Resort! It was an excellent location with fantastic views of the lake. It was in an ideal position on the lake, very private and in a quiet, but friendly village, but also half way between Como City and Bellagio, with easy access to anywhere on the lake. We really appreciated the warmth and kindness of Eric and Robin, and they really made an extra effort to make our stay as comfortable and interesting as possible! Nothing was too much trouble, and they really know the best places to visit on the lake. The apartment was well furnished, clean and comfortable. We had no problems with anything at the resort - quite the opposite! There was a real community feel both at the resort and within the village, without being intrusive, which made all the difference. It was nice to be able to chat with other people at the resort, but still have privacy and all the time we wanted to ourselves. We really loved our time there and would definitely recommend it to other people! We're sure we'll be back at some point in the future!

  Ciao Eric, Robin and Jiselle, We enjoyed our stay with you very much and can't wait to come back next spring. The Views from your resort of Lake Como are truly spectacular! Please thank our little hostess Jiselle for showing us around. She was a joy. You have a lovely family and we enjoyed spendng our special week at your place. Renting the boat and being picked up at our dock this week was one of the highlights of our trip. The Lake Como Cruise we call it- with Paul as the captain. We will not forget our lovely week there and are sad we are leaving. But know we will be returning. Say goodbye to Jiselle for us with a kiss and to you bothas you have been wonderful hostsadn owners. You go beyond the call of duty to make guests feel more than at home.   We really enjoyed our holiday at the Lake Como Beach Resort - the apartments were very nicely furnished and the lake was great for swimming - our children thoroughly enjoyed themselves. There is no swimming pool on the site - the nearest one is at a hotel in a neighbouring village and there is a fee.

  Owner response: Thank you for your kind review. The Lake Como Beach Resort does not have a pool on our grounds as we have swimming directly in the lake, right off our sand lido and boat dock. All of our guests enjoyed swimming in the lake and laying on the rafts we had available to all, as well as laying on the chaise loungers under the sun umbrellas overlooking the lake. There are private pools available for a fee by Villa Geno or Villa Olmo in Como as well as Villa Serbelloni in Bellagio. Most of the beaches and lidos directly on the lake do not have a pool, as we all have Lake Como which is alot more fun for swimming and sunbathing, while watching all the boats sail and drift by. It is the most magical of all the lakes in Italy and we would not trade this location for anywhere else.'This spot is perfect without a pool. Nothing is better than the lake itself. :) All the children who had visited this sumner, had a fantastic time swimming in the lake. Ciao from Lake Como !

  Thank you guys for a most enjoyable holiday on Lake Como. Your hospitality was immeasurable. We had a a wonderful time in your special resort. We are looking forward to returning next year for our two week holiday. Being teachers, we can only visit during the school vacations but if it were up to us, we would come in the spring and fall too. We wish you much success in your new venture and are sure that the Lake Como Beach Resort will be as successful as all your other top properties. The views are incredible but even better in person than in pictures. After coming here, you will agree that this property is as stunning as Villa Gabriella. We stayed there last year.   One of our biggest dreams was to visit Lake Como, as we had heard so much about it from friends as well as magazines and the TV. But have only just come to know how amazing a place it really is. We were given a trip by our friends and family for our 25th Wedding Anniversary- A trip to Lake Como! It was even more than we had expected, extraordinarily beautiful and so quaint and charming with all the little villages scattered along the lake. Lake Como is the most scenic of all the lakes we have visited in Italy. We were able to visit many places on our trip, as we were centrally located just a few minutes by car from Como and Bellagio. We spent a lot of time walking and hiking the lake hills. Bring good walking shoes if you want to do a lot of walking the cobblestone streets and narrow paths. We got a good trekking guide from Eric so that we could fnd the trails easily. We enjoyed hiking up to the Pian del Tivano to the top near the observatory. The views and walks were invigorating. To return to the villettas and have a swim in the lake after a two hour walk was very inviting. August in Lake Como is nice and warm. Afetr all the rain and gray skies of the U.K we needed a little sunshine. We took our camera along (don't forget that) and took many beautiful shots of the lake and our visit. We even got one of the resort, as our boat passed by with our friends. We visited Varenna and Bellagio with the ferry, a must. The views are spectacular from the resort and Pognana Lario. The highlight of our trip was swimming in the lake, directly off the pier from the resort. They have a sand lido and boat dock we used daily and were picked up for a boat ride right on the dock. Rent a motor boat and take a three hour boat ride to Bellagio and Sala Comacina. We parked our boat in Aregno and went for lunch. The customer service at the resort was excellent ( thanks Robin and Eric for everything ) and we would recommend this property to family and friends. We would have liked to have spent two weeks here. Next time we hope. Lake Como is one of the most romantic and charming places in Italy in our opinion. Micki & Nathan .......Oxford, England

  You can see for miles and miles over the lake from our villetta balcony, the terraces and gardens of the resort. There is literally no place you will want to go. The lake front is right at your doorstep and you can enjoy the sand lido and sit on the boat dock and feed the ducks. It is so romantic. We walked to the restaurants in the village which was great fun and stopped each evening at Peppos Bar for a gelato. We walked and hiked the hills above the villa for hours as we love walking. Rented a motorboat on Eric's suggestion, a must do. Took the ferry from Pognana Lario to Bellagio and onto Varenna. Visited many of the gardens and villas on the lake such as Villa Carlotta and Villa Melzi. There is so much to see and do I would give myself two weeks next time. The public transport system is excellent and is how we got around. Better to rent a car if you have very little ones. The locals were very helpful and the food delicious.   Villa is clean and comfortable and location is good. Everything works good and we are very satisfied. There is not ventilation system, so there are very hot to sleep on summer. We can recommend that place for all. Eric and Robin are so kind and helpful. Thanks everything! Also our children (10 and 13) enjoyd at that place.

  What a treasure we found on the lake through froends of our who stayed at the Lake Como Beach Resort in the spring of this year and had highly recommended it to us. They fell in love with the peace and quiet and the fact that all the guests had a sense of community and real caring and mutual respect for one another. You are there and have a high sense of Euforia - being high on the beauty of this place. I water is invigorating and swimming divine. Definately a 5 star resort on the lake with many more extras the big resorts will no do for you - go that extra nile to please guests. Eric and Robin have acceived that at this truly magnificent property. It feels like you are in your own little Lake Como Paradise here with not a worry in the world and where you can go and totally relax.Our hosts- Eric and Robin, we have to be honest, have been the best qwners/hosts we have ever had the pleasure to work with. Truly Ace!!

  Our holiday on Lake Como at Villetta Tranquillita` was spectacular ! A truly fantastic location right on the waterfront.We had a very relaxing stay and our hosts Eric and Robin are so gracious-tops. The views are stunning from the windows, french doors, balconies and terraces,to the gardens. Every villa is directly on the waterfront like it states on the site. The gardens are beautiful with every plant imaginable. The furnishings were brand new and tastefully decorated. Very well done. We had everything we needed and more. We can't wait to go back. Will recommend to all. We were a family of four adults and had a great time. Thank you Eric and Robin for being so kind and helpful.

  Arriving at the Lake Como Beach Resort we were greated by Eric and instantly felt at home. The villas were very well designed and maintained. Really incredible gardens, walk ways and views. We enjoyed the walking trails throughout the village and waters edge.The villettas are two storey with bedroom on the top floor and living area on the main floor. Beautifully renovated property with lots to do. The terracotta hand made pottery fro Tuscany were lovely. All the flowers and gazebo just added to the beauty of the old palazzo. Great location on the lake front. Near Bellagio and Como. Spotless and unique. We had a wonderful holiday. Our two children had such fun. Como Centro, Lugano, Varenna and Bergamo are just some places we visited. You could easily spend three weeks here and not see everything. We enjoyed visiting the other lakes nearby but are happy we stayed on Lake Como. We'll definately be back and recommend this resort and Villetta Tranquilita` to everyone we know.   Being on the waterfront was very special indeed. Eric and Robin have made it even that much more special with their excellent customer service offered to every guest, youung or old.The views from the elevator to the balconies and the gardens as well as boat dock and lido are just about perfect. We did not know this magical place exsisted, until we found it quite by accident, walking the lake road in spring of this year. We decided to stay here on our next trip to Milan for work and here we are. We have decided to make it our special place to come and get away from it all. It is very private and away from the noise of cars and the crazy world. It is a place all on it's own, quite spectacular! Superbly decorated and very stylish. We loved the cozy bed and luxury linens as well as the soft fluffy towels. Thank you Robin and Eric for your kindness and assistance. You have a First Class Resort ! Ciao from Cambridge C.K
