My boyfriend and our english bulldog and I went up to Ashland just before New Years. The manager of the apartment, Brigid, met us in the snow storm with the keys at 9 pm with open arms. She was very accommodating and cheerful and let us just be for the rest of the visit. We had a lovely time walking up the hills of Ashland with Grizzly Peak just off in the distance, walking into to town and the into the park for meals and ice skating. The apartment was very clean, cool lighting features, XM radio, coffee, microwave, hot plate (no pots/pans), no tv (which is just fine ;-)). Hot tub was not functioning when we were there but it didnt bother us a bit. This is a lovely apartment for a couple wanting to get away to glorious Ashland and relax :-). We shall return.Recommended for: Age 55+, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, pet owners, sightseeing.

About the owner: Home owner is an award winning documentary film maker. She grew up in Philadelphia, spent most of her adult life in Washington DC and moved to Ashland in 1998. She practiced law for 25 years before becoming a film maker.
