Ski-in/Ski-Out Townhome... at the Base of Peak 9
- Minimum stay:N/A
- Internet:Yes
- Pets allowed:No
- Wheel chair accessible:Yes
Located in beautiful Breckenridge, Colorado, our Townhome is a tri-level unit, with ground level entry, in the Cedars complex at the base of Peak 9, adjacent to Quick Silver chair lift.
Comfortably furnished with lots of space, our townhome is just like a 'home-away-from-home.' In addition to the amenities listed, the master bedroom has a king-size bed, the second bedroom has a queen-size bed and bunk beds. The bottom bunk is a futon which makes out into a full-size bed and the top bunk is a single. Each bedroom also has a full bath. There is also a queen-size sofa sleeper (with electric pump air mattress) in the living area.
With a pool and hot tub just down the block and the downtown shops, entertainment, and dining within walking distance, there is always something available for everyone. Summer time is just as fun as the ski season, with lots of activities. The Summit County area really caters to the tourists. Often, there are festivals of some type going on during the summer, along with all the other recreational activities you would enjoy in a Beautiful Mountain Setting.
During the ski season your Breckenridge lift tickets are also valid at Keystone, Arapahoe Basin, and Vail. You might consider trying the night skiing at Keystone. There is a shuttle service back and forth to each of the resorts. In addition to skiing and snowboarding, there is also tubing and skating.

Townhouse had everything we needed. Right next to slopes. Heated garage right under the unit was a real convenience. Owner was great to deal with too. We will definitely be back.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children.

Our stay was wonderful, could not have expected a nicer place. The location was super, very close to town, right on the slope. We have stayed at the Marriott across from Quicksilver, several times but too small. We had all the room we needed, all the conviences you could have expected, and the addition of the sunroom was great it doubled the size of the master bedroom. Just could not have asked for anything more. Our grandson was very supprised at such a nice place.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: Thank you much for the nice comments. We spend about three months there in the summer so we try to make it very comfortable for ourselves, and by extension for our guests. Owner

Not only did this property exceed my expectations for loaction, but it was also the most comfortable place that I have ever stayed. I truely felt like a good friend of the owner. The "little" item that put me over the top was the completely stocked spice rack in the kitchen. I didn't do any cooking, but it was nice to know that I had 4 types of ground or crushed pepper if I needed it! Any every pot, pan and cooking implement that you might need was there. I bet the knives were sharp too! The radiant heat in the kitchen floor wasn't too bad either. Or the uber coomfy reading nook/office off the master bedroom. Steam shower was also kind of a nice touch. I really can't say enough positive things about this condo. The rental arrangements went seemlessly with the owners rep. Right from the first e-mail to sending the keys back after my stay. Almost too easy. While this property was more expensive than the Comfort Inn--- you truely get what you pay for. And who doesn't like to ski down to the lift first thing in the morning? If you want to see where this place sits in relation to the ski slope and to town, I'd suggest that you use Google Map and hit satellite view. The slope is very gental so the walk to town is no big deal, even at 9000 feet above sea level.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

We are thrilled to be heading back this February to stay at this wonderful townhome again. Convenient enough to walk into town for pizza at Eric's, yet a peaceful location. The kitchen is beautifully appointed with everything you could need. A short walk to the Quicksilver lift and you are headed up the mountain. Very comfortable bedding, great layout. Kris is a wonderful "hostess" and should be commended for her attention to detail. Last year my daughter forgot her chi hair iron in the steam shower bathroom. Kris found it and got it to us immediately. What service!! Planning to come every year.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

We have stayed all over Breckenridge including 5 or 6 different units at the Cedars. This condo is by far the best equipped and maintained condo we have ever rented. We could literally move in to this property and not buy anything extra. The kitchen has spices, a huge selection of utensils, and excellent appliances. Each bedroom has a selection of pillows to suit anyone. Movies, books and games are all provided. This is better than any of the front row units we have rented. I toured 4 units for sale while here and none were close to being as nicely renovated as this unit. This condo is furnished the way you would furnish it if you intended to live full time here. Absolutely terrific.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

We stayed in this Cedars Condo in July of 2006. We had a great time. The price, location and facilities were great. We love Breckenridge and love the cedars. Everything was as promised, we didn't have any problems at all.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Owner info
Year Purchased: 1994
About the owner: We are a retired couple residing in Arizona, just north of Phoenix. We like to spend much of the summer months at the unit in Breckenridge so we can be closer to family. We have parents, siblings, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren in Colorado.
Why the Owner Chose Cedars Townhomes:
Originally from Colorado, we wanted someplace we could always come back to. We love Summit County and the Colorado mountains, so it just seemed logical to invest in a short term rental property.
