Thank you for taking such good care of us while we were in town visiting Liberty University. It was really convenient to be close to the university and we only wished we would have had more time to explore Lynchburg. Thank you for providing us with the coffee, creamer and fresh cut flowers. We truly felt honored that you would do all of the extra touches for a group of moms from the west coast!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

Absolutely stunning home!! We were so impressed with the home and it's history. Our stay was so nice being able to relax in this beautiful place!! We will be back. I can't say enough about the landlords and how kind they were. I'm very thankful for this rental property. It was such a great location from Liberty University and other popular sites. My friends and I brought things to cook our meals and was grateful that the kitchen had everything we needed. The beds were beyond comfortable and everything within the house was well-kept. I enjoyed the beautiful backyard and only wished it wasn't so cold out, so that we could have enjoyed our meals out there. I'm very thankful for this property. The price is great and the owner was so friendly and accommodating to any questions we had and even was a great help in suggested things to do. I had a blast and glad that my engagement weekend included a great house to add to the memories. I look forward to returning soon!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: I am excited to hear that your engagement was at our house during your stay. I want to offer you and your future husband a free stay at our house for this summer or fall so you enjoy that morning or evening meal outside. I have to say, it was a pleasure meeting such nice young Chrsitian couples. Congratulation on you new beginging, God Bless.

My husband, daughter, son-in-law and 7 month old granddaughter stayed in this wonderful home midweek for three nights. We absolutely loved the convenience of the home to Historic Lynchburg. We enjoyed walking our granddaughter in her stroller through the neighborhhod. The owner was so kind to give us a welcome tour of Lynchburg. The property is lovely with an awesome backyard perfect for eating on the deck although with temperatures unseasonably cold we could only dream of doing this in the future. The home had lovely furnishings, comfortable beds and all the supplies one could ask for. It was much more than we expected with all the conveniences of home.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: Anne and Andy thank you for the nice review, I am always looking to improve every one stay to make it that special place they will always remmeber. I look forward to your next visit.

Loved the beautiful, quiet, historic neighborhood. We often take the train to Lynchburg from DC and could easily stay here without a car. At least six great restaurants, galleries, two spas, and cool shops were within a five minute walk! The house was lovingly restored and well- furnished and beds were super comfy. As architects, we had a great time walking the neighborhood to see the Victorian mansions and carriage houses and met several friendly neighbors during our walks. Despite the great restaurant choices (and our new favorite coffee shop The White Hart), we chose to cook some meals at the house. Found all of the cooking items we needed and kitchen was nicely equipped. Love the fact that we could walk in 10 minutes to hiking trails and miles of bike paths which was great for our kids! The house was very cozy for a Christmas break and we can't wait to come back during warm weather to enjoy the deck and awesome back yard.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: Your nice review is appreciated! We had forgotten about the nearby bike and walking trails. Glad you found them! The neighbors are super nice and love to chat about the historical homes here. We love the restaurants too! Especially Waterstone! Their pizza is delish! Give 'em a try next time you're in town. We Look forward to seeing you again soon.
