I don't think I could have had a more plesant stay. Right in the middle of everything yet peaceful, quiet, green. I will stay if I come back again. The landlords were accomodating, the place clean, and well furnished. Just greatRecommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

My husband, three month old and I recently spent three nights in apartment A. We are originally from Seattle and needed a home base to visit some friends. The owners accommodated our late arrival time and gave us a quick overview of everything in the apartment. We felt like we had come home to a private sanctuary. The apartment building is on a very quiet street in the middle of the city. We loved the location because it was not only quiet, but it’s walking distance in three directions to business districts with cute coffee shops, restaurants and shopping. It is located conveniently to downtown and the freeways and close to the Seattle Troll. The designated parking for the rental unit was very convenient for our stay. It was helpful as we were traveling with an infant. It was especially appreciated when we had visitors as the parking accommodated two vehicles. The weekend went too fast and we wished we could stay longer. The two bedroom apartment is like a five star hotel, complete with a hair dryer, robes and all the kitchen necessities. The apartment has wonderful sheets, pillows and designer finishes. Everything was clean and well maintained. I am looking forward to staying there again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

About the owner: My husband grew up visiting his grandmother in this small apartment building. We moved in the one bedroom unit as newlyweds in 1996. Over a decade of managing long term rentals, we decided to furnish two units and offer as short term rentals.
Why the Owner Chose Wallingford:
Close to busy Wallingford, Fremont, Lake Union, Greenlake, & University of Washington. Quick and easy access to downtown. Our street is tucked away in the Wallingford neighborhood. It is a short street with low traffic volume, therefore is a nice quiet location.
The Unique Benefits at this Apartment:
Since my husband's grandmother was the original owner; we have lovingly cared for this mid-century structure. We are both in the design & construction industry and have applied personal touches.
