You will be away from the crowds, but still very convenient to area restaurants and attractions. We truly care about you, our guests and want you to have the best vacation ever! Choose your own personal code prior to your arrival with no check-in necessary.

Welcome to your perfect golf or beach vacation because this will be your home away from home. We love sharing our 3 bedroom, 3 1/2 bath, 2 story townhouse, It is located in Tanglewood @ Barefoot Resort, on the tee of the 13th tee of the Greg Norman course. The condo features one King, two Queens, and two Twin beds sleeping 8 people comfortably. Our unit is located in a quiet area of Barefoot Resort and has a private driveway with a one car garage. The garage has a utility sink to clean and store your golf clubs and beach gear. No need to worry about parking here with a dozen extra spaces near the unit. You will also enjoy walking or biking the 5 mile loop through the beautifully landscaped resort, in a safe, family environment.

The living area has a 58” Samsung SMART HDTV and leather seating with a lift top coffee table to use your laptop or a desk in the loft. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to make your home cooked meals. Bring your K-cups to use the Keurig coffee maker. Enjoy two seating areas around the kitchen table and two bar stools and the dining room. A half bathroom and full size laundry is also located on the first floor.

The master bedroom with its own bathroom has a double sink, jetted tub and separate walk-in shower with a 32” HDTV. The 2nd upstairs bedroom has 2 queen beds with its own bath and a 22” HDTV. The 3rd bedroom has 2 twin beds and a HDTV with a built in DVD player and a third bathroom in the hallway. All 3 bedrooms have flat screen TV's and ceiling fans. Fresh linens, towels and paper products are provided. Enjoy the view of the golfers teeing off with your morning cup of coffee from the screened lanai.

Barefoot Resort has two pools for your use, one in Tanglewood, which is a few steps from our front door and South Carolina's largest pool located by the North Tower Condominium and Yacht Club on the Intracoastal Waterway. There is a full service marina with boat and jet ski rentals. Also near the pool, is the Barefoot Marina Bar and Grill which has indoor and outdoor seating with a view of the intracoastal waterway and the Barefoot Landing fireworks. on Monday night. In front of the restaurant, you can play beach volleyball and corn-hole. If you enjoy the beach, it is only 1.5 mile drive to Windy Hill Beach or you can drive along Ocean Blvd. and park in any of the public parking lots. The beach is also accessible by the free shuttle to the public access area at 46th Street & South Ocean Blvd. The shuttle stop runs daily Memorial Day to Labor Day. It also runs weekends in April, May, September and October. No need to worry about finding parking at the beach and no sand in your car when you take the shuttle. If you are a golfer, you have come to the right place. With nearly 80 courses in a short radius, you have a variety of choices for all price ranges and levels of play. The location is perfect for courses in Brunswick County NC, and the southern courses in Pawleys Island and Murrells Inlet.

A Great Place for a Winter Getaway

We just returned from renting Linda & Tim’s townhome for six weeks from mid-February through the end of March this year. During our stay we had our college-age children join us on separate occasions for a few days during their spring breaks. The townhome is extremely clean, is well organized, and has plenty of room for everyone to spread out and have their own space to relax. The patio looks out onto the 13th tee box on the Norman course. We enjoyed spending time relaxing on the patio, especially in the early evening or when we were making dinner on the grill. The Tanglewood community is very close to the clubhouse / driving range as well as an easy drive over to Barefoot Landing where there are several restaurants & shops to enjoy. The kitchen is well stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals during our stay. Also, having beach chairs and bicycles available to use makes life much easier when packing the car for an extended vacation. Linda is very responsive to any questions / concerns regarding her property or the North Myrtle Beach area. We have rented other townhouses at Barefoot over the past several years and Linda & Tim’s place has been the best place that we have found.

Family Golf Trip to Myrtle Beach

From the emerald fairways of Barefoot Resort & Golf to the golden glow of a North Myrtle Beach sunrise, our recent VRBO stay transcended a mere vacation. This wasn't just a room in a resort; it was a home away from home, welcoming us with open arms and exceeding all our expectations. The spaciousness was a breath of fresh air compared to cramped hotel rooms. The bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, offered privacy and personal space. More than the bedrooms, the family room and the dining room provided us with the ability to relax and enjoy each other. More than just spacious, this home was super clean and well appointed. It was more like staying in a friend’s home than staying in a vacation rental. Comfortable chairs and sofas encouraged family time and comfortable beds provided much needed rest and relaxation. We were also surprised by all our host's thoughtful gestures, from providing bikes and beach gear to having a utility sink in the garage with a club brush to clean our clubs when we came home, showed a consideration that goes above and beyond what we expected. Ultimately, what made this VRBO experience truly special was the feeling of being at home even though we were away from home. We weren't just guests; we were family, embraced by our hosts and the comfort and warmth of the space they created. It was the perfect setting to ring in the new year, surrounded by loved ones and laughter.

The best rental by far.

The property was clean, well stocked and furnished beautifully. The owner was very helpful and communicative. Will definently like to rent again. Easy location. We have stayed in different units and this was by far the best yet.

We love the quiet neighborhood and relaxing on the screened in lanai watching the golfers teeing off. We love Tanglewood because it is a small, quiet neighborhood. Many guests have commented that it is nice to come back to the peaceful setting and get away from the hustle and bustle of Myrtle Beach. We also enjoy riding our bikes through the resort on the 5 miles of sidewalks or to the beach! After your days adventure, it is nice to come back and relax in a quiet, family friendly neighborhood.
