This house sits high atop the 160 acre property with 360 degree forever views of surrounding horse and cattle ranches as well as vineyards. The property is gated for privacy. Enjoy a glass of wine while watching the sunset over wine country then see every star in the night sky. Master BR has King bed and full bath, 3 other BRs (1 with Queen, 2 with full beds) share a hall bath (full). Full kitchen, DR, LR, directv and wireless internet. A very nice, clean country house but 'no chocolates on the pillow'. 9 miles from paso robles or atascadero. Stay here and enjoy the 'creston wine trail'. The original STANGER tasting room is here as well.

This house rents as a place to stay only. Full kitchen facilities, including condiments, dishes, silverware, etc. but no other food. No turn down service or chocolates on the pillow. Treat it like your own home. Pets must be pre-approved.
50% deposit - refundable up to 10 days prior to stay. Payment in full at check in. Checks, cash and all major credit cards.
Additional Fees and Taxes:
End of stay housecleaning is $89. Additional cleaning upon request $89 per. Guests can choose how many times they would like. If an animal is accepted add up to $50 to cleaning charge.
Hotel tax is 8%.
Special STANGER Wine Club offer. Join the Wine Club, receive the current shipment and get $30 per day off your stay (max $90 disc.)

Year Purchased: 2005
About the owner: In 1999 Cheryl & Roger Janakus left the Chicago area and came west to start a vineyard. One look at Paso Robles and they knew it was what they were looking for. in 1832, Roger's Great, Great, Great Grandfather Daniel Stanger left the wine growing region of Alsace Loraine, France to come to America. The rest, as they say, is history.
Why the Owner Chose Paso Robles:
This property was chosen to be the sight of the STANGER tasting room for several reasons, it's location, its picturesque setting and the house was practically new (built in 2002). The intimate rec room was converted into an 'Old World Style' tasting room and the rest of the house became the residence. Today the area has become a destination for wine tasting, olive tasting and great food. Come to the 'Creston Wine Trail' and see for yourself.
