Swim to your hearts content in our large private pool. Bike or drive just 2 miles to the local's favorite beach (Manasota) for more swimming, fishing, shelling or looking for that prize sharks tooth for a souvenir.
The Panda house is convenient to stores, banks, shopping, golf courses and of course beaches. In addition to Manasota Beach, close by are Venice and Nokomis Beach, Casey Key and the number 1 rated beach in U.S., Siesta Key with it's white cool quartz sand.
Visiting Venice is not complete without a trip to the island and a walk down Venice Ave. Stroll in and out the quaint shops in this historical town and eat at some of the best restaurants in the area. Better yet, eat outside and enjoy the sites and people. Also on the island you'll find the Venice Theater and the Art Center. You don't won't to miss eating at Sharky's on the Pier while on the island. The food is great and the entertainment is enjoyable and the weekend brings out vendors and even more entertainment. A walk down the pier at sunset would top off your day and leave lasting memories.

Had a great time!! It was our best vacation ever! Dan and Rachel, the owners were so nice and made sure everything was satisfactory. The pool is great and we were only minutes from the beach. Its in a quiet neighborhood that is close to everything. I will use this as our vacation house every year if I can. You can;t get any better. Thanks for a great vacation. We LOVED it!!!!!!!!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Year Purchased: 2010
About the owner: Dan and I (Rachel) left Ky. and an 18 acre retreat center to begin a very different life. We still go back and forth assisting others to operate the grounds and conference center and also to see our children and 10 grandchildren. We love meeting new people and assisting them to have the best vacation they can possibly have. We believe in being there when needed and being honest people with integrity. We hope that we will meet you!
Why the Owner Chose Venice:
This was a house we could put our signature on. I love decorating and doing unusual things. Our master shower base is rock from the beach with a special coating. This is done in high end decor and is said to be therapeutic for your feet. We have tastefully done shell art and floral designs and special knots (with their names) displayed on the valences in the nautical room. We love that this house in located on Panda Rd. because we call it the Panda house and even have a panda (wooden) hanging outside. Most of all we liked that it was so close to the beach and has a large pool. Swimming laps is my (Rachel) form of exercise. We also like the fireplace, even though we rarely need it. We love it and so does everyone that has come.
