I'd love for you to find somewhere else to stay so this will always be available for me. Having grown up not far from this apartment it is such a pleasure to be back in a "real" NY apartment sharing the elevator with moms and school kids, maids with laundry to do in the basement and owners walking their dogs. Home. You can open the windows at night for a lovely cross ventilation breeze and it's quiet. Heaven.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

A good sized apartment on a high floor in a fabulous upper west side location. The apartment is clean, quiet and well equiped (kitchen necessities, WI FI & 2 flat screens). It's close to everything you'll need (reasturants, stores, transportation, Riverside & Central parks). Elaine, the owner, is a pleasure to work with.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, tourists without a car, girls getaway.

On fairly short notice, my wife and I and our older daughter (17) decided to spend a few days in New York. I found this apartment, contacted Elaine, and off we went. We arrived at the splendid location on the Upper West Side, got the key from the very nice doorman, and found ourselves in a charming apartment. It really has everything you would want, including nicely-sized bedroom, a sleeper sofa in the living room, kitchen with pots and utensils for cooking, wi-fi and, of course, Elaine available by phone or email to answer questions. The location is unbeatable if you want some sanctuary after a busy day exploring the city. The subway is three short blocks away, and the vibrant dining and shopping scene along Broadway, Columbus and Amsterdam can be found within a short walk. All in all, the place to be. I highly recommend it!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

What a wonderful apartment to experience the Upper West Side. So fresh, clean, organized and stylishly arranged. Elaine was gracious, welcoming, and very attentive. I followed her restaurant advice and had the best Thai food I've ever had! The apartment building is safe, quiet, and the doormen were friendly and helpful. Out the door, turn right and walk 1 block to Riverside Park, turn left and walk a couple of blocks to Broadway. The apartment was spacious enough for us to organize our belongings and still have room to enjoy the space. We would love to return here for future visits.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

We were excited to visit New York for our first time and renting this apartment made the experience even better! We first contacted Elaine by phone and hit it off immediately. She was so helpful in helping us make arrangements to rent her apartment. She also went out of her way to give us helpful information about how to get around and what things she would recommend that we see and do while in New York. The apartment is exactly how it is shown in the photos and we were always happy to return each evening to a comfortable place to stay. I highly recommend this apartment! It is in a quiet area of town with public transportation easily accessible. We will return again to New York and will definately look to stay here again upon any return trips to New York. Thanks Elaine!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, sightseeing, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.

I stayed at this very cute, clean apartment on the Upper West Side. The place is spotless with very new furniture and the flat was perfect for my husband and I and our teenage child who slept on the very comfortable pullout. The location of the place is great, one block from the 1 train on 87th and Broadway and we visited the Natural History museum and walked Central Park (5 blocks away). The price was overly reasonable for New York City and we spent the money we saved on dining out and theatre tickets. Thanks to the owner!Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.
