My family came from all over the country to spend time with my family during "spring break" We chose this place based on amenities, price and location. It was everything that is promised/showcased. PERFECT LOCATION. Cant beat the price w/ a stick. We had a great time and will definitely be back.

Recommended for:Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Laura and Anthony have a lovely, comfortable home. The spacious house served as home base for our two families while visiting the beach in March. We had plenty of room for all five of us. Each day we wandered across the street to the beach and took long walks. The white sand beach and beautiful green water inspired us to stay outside and enjoy it, even when the weather was not cooperative. Each evening we walked across the bridge to John's Pass to enjoy the restaurants. Our teenage girls loved Bubba Gump's shrimp! John's Pass hosts many of the nearby activities, so we were there a lot. The girls got their first parasailing experience, which turned out to be the highlight of the trip. Both families enjoyed the dolphin sighting boat tour. The boats go past "bird island" where hundreds of egrets, spoonbills, and pelicans were nesting. This is a must-see for nature lovers (though our teenagers found it boring). We saw a lot of dolphins that day, too. One evening we drove north about 8 miles or so to Indian Rocks Beach to go to the Salt Rock Grille. It was one of the finest dining experiences we've had in a long time. Don't miss the glass floor that looks down on their wine cellar! We will definitely recommend Laura and Anthony's house as a great location for friends that want to visit Florida's west coast. We came back refreshed, relaxed, and wishing we had more time there!

We stayed at this vacation rental at the end of March and had a wonderful time. Anthony and Laura were a pleasure to deal with. The home was extremely clean and accommodated six of us very comfortably. The surrounding area had lots to offer and we were within walking distance to St. John's Pass restaurants, shops and the beach. I would highly recommend this home to those traveling to the area and would rent it again myself!

I spent 4 nights with my family at the house and had a great time. The house is very convenient for John's Pass Village Boardwalk with easy access to St Pete's by car. The Beach is very close as are local shops. The house was very comfortable, Anthony and Laura were very helpful and could not do enough for us. The deck provided good views at night and perfect sunbathing during the day. A great place to stay and I will be back!

I want to go back!! After turning on the heat, and sitting down to write this, I wish to immediately return to the clean spacious house by the beach in the very beautiful state of Florida, and the lovely area of Treasure Island. Without a doubt, I would return in a heartbeat. We traveled in a party of 6, two couples and two teens. The house was so well laid out, and we all had our own space. Each bedroom offers something different, one a very large whirlpool tub, one a walk out patio. Each had their own bathroom! The kitchen was well stocked. Unlike other rentals! There is a blender, a full fridge and stove, lots of spices, full set of cookware, utensils etc. The full size laundry was on the main floor. I wish I had that at home! We literally were one minute from the beach, and a less than 5 minute walk to Johns Pass). There was a variety of restaurants and shops there. Also lots of activities to sign up for. We took a local charter for $35 and spend 5 hours cruising around the Inter coastal water ways and to Edgemont Island. Well worth the price, unfortunately, I cannot recall who it was with. I did book it on the upper board walk at Johns Pass. My friends para sailed and loved it. The home is wonderfully situated. Lots for my teens to walk too and to occupy them. Again, it was also spotless, and I know, because of back troubles, I am often laying on the ground haha! The owners were very nice, completely intrusive, and yet very helpful if you need them. They have compiled a nice binder of tips and advice and local stores, and best deals etc. You can't go wrong here!

We just returned last week form this beautiful, spacious home. We had 8 people ranging in age from 2 to 85 and it was our first foamily vacation ever. It was perfect! The house was so spacious, everyone could do what they wanted when they wanted to and the location was awesome! Short walk to eat, walk on the beach or shop and all of us did all the above at different times. We are all anxious to go back again, The house is beautiful, but so comfortable and every room had something special about it! We couldn't have asked for more. Norma Selk

LOVED this place!! CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN !!!We had our 1st Family vacation here over Easter and 3 days into the vacation we were already talking about next year. Loved the location...less than a minute to the beach, a mile from the grocery, walking distance to local bars and restaurants and a liquor store 17 paces from the driveway:) The house was what truly made this trip work. We had 6 adults and 2 children in our party, and never once did we feel like we were on top of one another. Lots of space, GREAT kitchen, 3 bathrooms, and with 2 of the bedrooms upstairs you could put a toddler down for a nap and not have to worry about noise. We all took naps everyday which is not like any one of us, but this house is so peaceful and relaxing that you just felt the urge to read a book and catch a few zzzz's before heading back out to the beach. We saw dolphins swimming everyday and the shells were amazing. This is absolutely perfect for families with children or just a group of adults wanting somewhere to go and get away from it all. We really used this house for what it is... a beach vacation getaway. We hit the beach after breakfast and again after lunch, and than headed out for dinner...(and with 3 full bath's it didn't take long for everyone to get ready. Shopping just a 7 minute walk over the drawbridge and all of the water sports/jet ski rental/boat ride ect... 7 minute walk over the drawbridge. Everything you need is right there... um except Starbucks. We did find one about 10 minutes drive down the road and it was a bit of a haul...for coffee that is. We flew into Tampa and it was a 25 minute drive from the airport...Piece of cake to find the house...and the airport was slick getting in and out. For our first family vacation I can't say enough about our stay here. We are returning next year to do it all over again, and the only thing I wish we would have brought would have been a pair of binoculars to watch the dolphins. That in it's self was like a free bonus.... Loved the dolphins:)

Our family stayed at Palms at the Pass for the holiday week, starting with the day after Christmas through New Year's Day. In lieu of gifts this year, we decided to take a family vacation together. Choosing to stay with Laura and Anthony was a gift to all of us, better than we could have ever imagined! Their house is beautiful, immaculate and very spacious; the pictures on the website do not do it justice. Our two children brought friends and we all had our owm bedroom, huge walk-in closet, and full bathroom. The main living area was large enough for all of us to sit and watch TV, eat, or just talk. Everything was provided for us from linens to beach towels and blender to choice of cubed or crushed ice from the ice maker that was built into the fridge. We all appreciated the full washer and dryer and the start up supply of paper products and soaps. With the Gulf just across the street we were so lucky to have had very warm "beach days" at this time of year and were able to take full advantage of realxing in the sun. I would highly recommend chosing this wonderful house for a vacation and hope that we will be able to visit again. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Our friend found this place and set up the whole thing. We had a wedding to go to and decided to make it a mini vacation as well. This has got to be the best placed ive stayed at. Location location location. It is seriosly walking distance to the beach, small shopping area, and some good eatting :) Laura and Anthony keep the place in very good condition and make you feel welcome from the time you enter up till the time you leave. Our family just spent three days at Palms at the Pass. Having a house to stay at, rather than a bunch of hotel rooms, was wonderful. The house itself is immaculate, comfortable and beautifully decorated. I'd say the pictures online don't do the house justice. We followed some of the suggestions for restaurants in the guidebook provided by Anthony and Laura - excellent. Many thanks for providing us with a home away from home. I'm already thinking about when we can stay there again.

Palms at the Pass was the perfect place for a reunion of old friends. The house was as described in the website or better. It was very comfortable and private. There are so many positive things to say about this house I don't know where to begin! Let's begin with the fact that it was meticulously clean-no little pockets of grime that you find in many hotels. Everything was scrupulously taken care of. The bedding was high quality, the lounge chair in the master was wonderfully comfortable to read in while the windows were open and I could catch the ocean breezes. The porch was great for the sunsets. The house is large and substantial, no beach shack here. I really liked how the house felt very solid and quiet-we had a lot of wind one night and with the windows closed it was completely quiet. We also loved walking to John's Pass, and rented waverunners early one morning and found ourselves in the middle of a pod of friendly dolphins that came RIGHT up to us! Highly recommend that experience, and the pistachio grouper at Sculley's. Laura and Anthony are great hosts, unobstrusive but helpful. The beach was gorgeous and totally uncrowded at the height of spring break,and that was just wonderful. We'll be back someday!

The beautiful, efficient beach home was great. The washer and dryer were a big help for all of the beach towels. Every appliance worked, the TV/DVD/VCR was easy to operate. All 8 of us enjoyed this spacious home.

Another wonderful stay at the Palms house! Laura and Anthony are the consummate hosts and the house is absolutely perfect. They are so accomodating with your schedule(just about every other condo/resort in TI will require 1 week stay, Sat to Sat only!) and the location is relaxing, convenient and a perfect home away from home. We visited the Palms at the Pass for a week at the end of March 2006. The house is nice and spacious. The location is convenient to everything one would need. The hosts had good taste and the places they recommend turned out to be quite nice. Do not be put off by the house having a street between it and the beach. The walk is very easy and did not bother us at all. The beach is great. Overall, a great value and a positive experience.

I was fortunate to locate and speak to Anthony and Laura over the internet as well as the phone prior to renting this lovely vacation home. We stayed for a week in late January. Everything lived up to our expectations. Laura and Anthony have done a wonderful job with the property. We especially appreciated that each bedrom had its own bathroom. It's also much bigger than a typical condo rental. The location is very good with easy access to the sea and the intracoastal waterway. Laura and Anthony made very warm hosts and we felt very much at home.

I recently returned to the frozen north after spending 3 glorious weeks in Treasure Island at a beautiful guest house "Palms at the Pass". The weather was balmy, the sunsets spectacular and the accommodations superb. The owners, Anthony and Laura Springate,were so welcoming and seemed to really care that my vacation was a memorable one. I will certainly stay there again and highly recommend this charming place.

Seven of us recently spent New Year here. Excellent facilities, everything we needed, including privacy with everyone having their own bathrooms. Loads of space, and an easy walk to beach, bars and the Boardwalk. Highly recommend this to groups or families.

Spent a long weekend here and really found it convenient. It is nicely decorated and very, very clean!! The rooms are nicely furnished and comfortable for the family to hang out. It was a real treat to have separate bathrooms for each bedroom. Would stay here again.

This house is very well coordinated designs and beautiful. We all loved this place. It is so convenient to everything, especially to the beach. This was a wonderful relazing stay before the hustle and bustle of Universal, Seaworld and Disney. The beach house was idyllic and will stay in our memories forever. Our children have already so many many memories of Treasure Island, beaches, birds breakfasts and beautiful people; we hope to back! Spacious and wonderfully decorated. Just a short walk to the beach, dining, shopping and entertainment. View the sunsets over the Gulf from your own private balcony. I've stayed here twice over the past year and plan on returning again.

SPACIOUS, My word that word doesn't do this palacial home JUSTICE! I've never felt so regal really. The walk to the beach is so short that you just take a step out of the house and turn left and your there. It's quiet, it's got a great staging area for sunsets and I'm trully sold on coming back, again, and again, and AGAIN! You cannot be disappointed really. Jose
