This was by far the best home I have stayed on my visits to Gatlinburg. The kitchen was state of the art and had better utensils and appliances than my own home! ...and that deck... well it was PERFECT!! This was a two family stay (3 adults 4 kids) Kids were 14, 13, 12 and 11. They loved the pool table and their own space downstairs! Of course the hot tub was another bonus for them! We did have a Momma Bear and her 3 cubs visit us (our neighbors trash) nightly. The cubs climbed up the trees while mom hunted for food. We did let our neighbors know the next morning to keep the lid locked, the next evening she could not find food and retreated back to the woods. These sightings were also VERY high on our kids memories of our Spring Break 2013 visit to the Smokey's! My only very small dislike was I could not figure out the lights/fans. It could just be that I was just concerned for getting back out on that deck for relaxation.Owner response: Thank you for your comments and I am so glad you had a great time. A group of 7 of us rented this house for a friends birthday weekend. The house is beautifully decorated and fully stocked with everything you could ever think of needing in the kitchen. The large deck and hot tub room were an extra added bonus and a very nice compliment to the gorgeous mountain views. We can't wait to start planning our next visit here. Thanks Thelma!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.
