Island Retreat is not a condominium, it is a real home (and we just know you will enjoy it!) The space is full of many nice details you will surely appreciate, such as real plants, attractive furnishings, and plenty of charm! The homeowners spent two years renovating the property, being careful to preserve the old island character of the original structure.
Island Retreat is convenient to everything on Tybee! You will be staying just a short walk to the beach, fishing pier and pavilion, the marina on the back river, and many restaurants, bars, and shops. If you want to venture off the island, historic downtown Savannah is only a twenty minute drive from Tybee. This property was featured on the 2000 Tybee Tour of Homes!
When you rent this property you will have complimentary access to the Tybee Vacation Information Center and Concierge Service. Ask the concierge for assistance with travel information, tickets, directions, recommendations, help with amenities, or anything needed to make your stay with us the best! The information center is open 7 days a week March - September and features: Free WIFI, Copy and Fax Services, DVD Rentals, newspapers, UPS, gifts, and more.
