We rented the home for our mother's 82nd birthday. It was just more centrally located for all to gather during the day, perfect for shopping at MOA or all the great shopping, restaurants that Apple Valley has to offer. Bedrooms were spacious and very clean. Plenty of bathrooms for multiple showers to get everyone out in the morning in a timely manner. Owners/caretaker were attentive to any questions we had. Beautiful home with plenty of space for the large gathering. Never felt as though we were on top of each other. The open floor plan from kitchen to living room was great for visiting. If we need a place to celebrate next year, will most definitely rent this home again. WAY better bargain than hotel rooms!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Myself and 3 other gals rented this home for a nice quiet weekend away. The bedrooms were generously sized. Four bathrooms were clean and very nice. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything we need to cook and was very accommodating. This was a great house for the price and would really like to consider renting it again in the summer months. Nice TV in living room and plenty of movies & television channels to keep us busy. Staff responded to emails and calls as needed & got a nice note from owners after the stay.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

I stayed here when I came out for work (it's more fun to stay in a house than the usual hotel chains). I was so happy to find this place available! It's a beautiful house (way more than I needed as a solo traveller), but the price was the same as the local Eagan and Bloomington hotels I usually stay at and the space, rooms and views were so much better! I made coffee in the mornings, had a glass of wine in the evenings and curled up on the couch with the cable TV. It was easy to get to the Mall of America and to Eagan and on into St. Paul. It's where the 35's split, so Minneapolis should be about the same distance as St. Paul (but I didn't go downtown on this trip).Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.
Owner response: We are glad you enjoyed your stay.

I have stayed at this beautiful lake home twice. Each stay was equally as pleasant. The owner and house manager were very accommodating with my travel times and everything was immaculate. It is perfect for family as the home provides adequate space to spend time together. Its very spacious and close enough to the heart of the cities to do anything you want.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children.
Owner response: Thank you so much for your nice comments! We are glad that you enjoyed your stay, please come back again!
