David's Hideaway Haven – This cozy condo is nestled within the pine woods. This 3 bedroom 2 bathroom condo is situated in the Beaver Village Condominium Complex which is just a short walk to town and about 1 1/2 miles from Winter Park Resort. The free shuttle bus provides door to ski lift service (it's one of the last stops before heading to the resort and one of the first stops to get home!) This is a top floor unit which features new carpet and mountain decor. It also has vaulted ceilings, natural light and no noise from above! (Building #6) The unit will sleep 10 people and has mountain decor.
Sleeping configurations:
Master: Queen bed with fireplace and private bath.
Second bedroom/Queen log bed and TV.
Third bedroom- great for the kids but will accommodate adults. Twin under full log bunk and a single futon. 2nd and 3rd bedroom share 2nd bathroom.
There are two working fireplaces in the unit. One in the living area (queen size futon here) and one in the master bedroom. Free WiFi is available in the unit and can be accessed in the commons area where there is a shared desktop computer. The kitchen is fully stocked with features new appliances. In the commons area you will find the indoor pool,3 indoor hot tubs, sauna, and the laundry facilities. A full locker room complete with showers is also available.

Why the Owner Chose Beaver Village
The condominium complex is nestled in the woods just outside the town of Winter Park. The clubhouse is just nearby. There you can relax your muscles in the hot tub after being out all day. Locker rooms and clean towels are available at the front desk just bring your swimsuit. There is free wi-fi in the unit as well as cable tv and a dvd player. The shuttle stops just outside the building to take you to town and the Winter Park and Mary Jane Resorts. You can easily access trails from outside the building for hiking or cross-country skiing.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
• Go skiing
• Walk into town (3 blocks)
• Walk to the trout pond across Highway 40, feed fish (summer). You can catch your own fish and they will cook it for you (for a nominal charge).
• Rent bikes or horses across highway. There are several bike shops in town.
• Hike to Ski Resort on Fraser River Trail (sometimes see beavers) (1.5 miles)
• Stop at Berthoud Pass summit (over 11,000 feet altitude) between Winter Park and I-70 toward Denver
• Eat breakfast at Carvers (walking distance)
• Smokin’ Moe’s barbecue (walking distance)
• Visit Granby Lake and Grand Lake on road to Rocky Mountain National Park (25 miles)
• Drive to West entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park (35 miles)
• Continue through the Park over Trail Ridge Road (over 11,000 ft altitude). Stop at the Alpine Visitor Center. Road is normally open starting Memorial Day to at least Labor Day. Road comes out in Estes Park.
• Visit Georgetown (30 miles). Ride on steam train (summer). Visit Adrianne’s favorite Indian jewelry shop
• Visit Breckenridge (70 miles)
• Go fishing
• Drive to the top of Mount Evans (from Idaho Springs)
• Drive Rollins Pass road, route of the original railroad, before Moffat Tunnel was built
• Relax and do nothing

Owner's Map of Beaver Village
Our father David Lloyd DuMond bought this property back in 2000 to enjoy and share with others. He had four children Debie, Dan, Don and Denise, all adults now. We were blessed to be able to spend time with him during his twice yearly trips to Colorado, and over time we were able to do so with our spouses and children too. We have wonderful memories of fun time spent together as a family here.
In July 2010, we inherited the property. So, now we are inviting you to come and vacation and enjoy all the things Winter Park has to offer. This condo is great for families with kids and large groups of adults. Make a few meals in and go out on the town for others. There is downhill skiing and cross-country skiing in the winter. There is biking and walking in the middle season. The town of Winter Park has year-round activities. The ones we've enjoyed are the Winter Park Jazz Festival, the KBCO Music Festival, bike riding,fishing, art festivals and the local dining and shopping.

Comfortable accommodations with great beds! Very close to activities for adults and children as well as shopping. Had a great time and would consider staying again! Short drive from west Denver!

This is a conveniently located condo, within walking distance to small shops and good eats. Easy access to I70 and the ski lifts. Plenty of room for getting together with friends and family at the end of the day.

My husband and I really loved our stay in this condo. It is cozy and very nicely decorated. We had a car since we are from Colorado, but it's really not necessary. You can walk to town, take a hike or a bike ride (rentals available in town) or get to the slopes on the shuttle, right from the condo. We will be back!

My husband and I have loved this condo; we have been here a few times. You can walk down a short hill to get to town for dinner. I love sipping coffee in the morning outside on the bench with the view of the mountains. The condo is very nicely decorated and cozy. We have loved having fires and taking walks in the woods, right from the condo. It is also nice and quiet.

We didn't think we could afford the luxury of staying in a mountain condo during ski season, but this condo was a great choice! Because it is a 3 bedroom, my husband and daughter were able to share the space with two other families we know and split the cost between all of us! It was great getting to ski and enjoy a homey place to stay. There is plenty of space and privacy even with 9 people! We will come back!

My family and I come here to get away every year. It is so conveniently located and getting to the slopes was so easy for us! It is the perfect mountain getaway. And I love the decor! We had 3 families sharing the unit and it still felt like we had plenty of room. The kitchen was fully stocked and well-laid out so we could eat in easily. But we also could go into town so conveniently to check out the great restaurants! Keep up the good work!
