Lake Como Beach Resort Additional Info. : Lake Como Beach Resort and Luxury Villettas is privately owned and operated. This lovely palazzo was originally a turn of the century Fabbrica di Metallo that has been lovingly restored.
Many original historic features have been preserved and maintained in keeping with the old charm and character of the original historic palazzo.
The villettas are situated just in front of a private two acre park setting, that lead to the most beautiful views over all of Lake Como. Upon entering, the Villettas open to the Spectacular Lake Como Waterfront, where one can see to Torno and Cernobbio to the South and past Argegno to the North, with over 180° views from every window, balcony and terrace in the Villa. It is truly an amazing place to be at sunrise or sunset, or just about any time of the day or night. Lake Como is a constant, living, ever changing photograph. Various airports and airlines serve the Milan/Como area. From the airport one can rent a car (Avis or Budget), hire a car and driver, or use a taxi. If you choose bus service, you must first travel into central Milan from where you can pick up a train to Como.
Airports:
Milan Linate - approx. 1 hour from Como Centro, airlines include: Alitalia, BA and EasyJet
Milan Malpensa - slightly nearer than Linate, 40 minutes from Como Centro - airlines include Alitalia, Lufthansa, KLM, BA and EasyJet with daily direct bus service to Como.
Milan Bergamo – approx. 1 hour 15 mins from Como Centro - airlines include Ryan Air. There is bus service to Bergamo rail station, from there you can get trains to Como.

There are 2 train stations in Como- main station- Como S. Giovanni & Como Nord which is next to the bus terminal.
Public transportation is very good around the Lake.

"Sandy and Jeanette's Wonderful Stay from australia" We would like to congratulate Eric on his wonderful hospitality by collecting us from the train and delivereing us back to the train station. Helping us with the groceries up and down the hill. Erics everyday hospitality check and suggestions of restaurants were wonderful.The villa had superb views, helped by the balmy weather 34 degrees everyday. Swimming and sunbathing on the beach was delightful. Especially as it was 8 degrees back home in australia. We caught the ferries most days and tripped around magnificent Lake Como. Rated: 5 of 5 Views To Die For ! The Lcbr is to die for. We could not have chosen a more perfect accommodation. Loved the old world charm of the roman roads and history. Absolutely stunning and charming. Everything you could possibly need is all here ! Beach, Lido, dock and very well equipped villas right on the waterfront. They are incredibly romantic and were so much fun! We have had an amazing holiday. Thank you for the wonderfful memories and all your help. Eric, you are an incredible host. Fantastic stay ! BEAUTIFUL ! It was a very nice experience staying at the villas. The villas and the garden were beautiful, only it was little harder for me. I have problems walking, and the walk through the garden was a little hard. Eric and Robin were the greatest Hosts. "Every day was an adventure - Terrific !" We woke up to the views of the gorgeous lake and gardens. Every day was an adventure for us whether we rented a seaplane to fly across the lakes or rented a matorboat to cruise the lake and view the beautiful villas on the lake. Every day was a new beginning! We had a fantastic holiday in Lake Como due to the Lake Como Beach Resort and their staff. Top notch accommodations. It is much better than the pictures online. We are looking to make this a permanent spot to visit yearly. We love it! A big thanks goes out to the owners Eric and Robin and their daughter Jiselle, the jewel of the lake. Enchanting, cozy and we fely welcomed like family. Thank for your gracious warm welcome. April till October are the best months here but anytime is beautuful. Truly magnificent stay. Lake Como Beach Resort & Villas Ist ein kleines Eldorado mit herzlichem Empfang durch Robin und Eric, die es verstehen, die Urlauber gleich ankommen zu lassen – die Appartements bieten alles, was man braucht, sind praktisch und geschmackvoll und der Blick vom Bett aus auf vorbeiziehende Boote und auf den See mit dem gegenüberliegendem Ufer lässt hoffen, dass der Urlaub noch recht lange geht. Sehr angenehm die Mischung der Urlauber, Engländer , Iren, Deutsche und Italiener ,die dem kleinen Refugium einen besondere Offenheit verleihen, Der Strand lädt ein zum Verweilen unter dem Sonnenschirm auch bei Campari und Wein. Kinder zeigen, was man alles mit einer Schwimminsel anstellen kann und man staunt, wie wenig man braucht , um mit dem Element Wasser den ganzen Tag in Bewegung zu bleiben, Heißer Tipp bei Mondschein, wenn alles schlafen sich den Wind um die Nase wehen lassen und den See ganz für sich allein haben. Eine Woche ist zu kurz- gern wären wir noch länger geblieben ,um all die Tipps der Umgebung aus zu probieren . Wenn wir wieder kommen sind wir gespannt, ob Eric und Robin nicht die Vorreiter in Sachen Sonne sind, und das Dach für alle Gäste mit der Sonne und den Warmwasserkollektoren fleißig heißes Duschwasser erwärmt. Auch für solche Themen ist Raum , die uns alle bewegen und die sich bei einem italienischem Wein ,der zum Empfang bereitsteht, gut diskutieren lassen.
