We were very pleased with our stay at this condo. It is an incredibly clean and very comfortable unit, with a very convenient location. Many shops and great restaurants are very close by, including several very good ones just an elevator ride away!

Great summer getaway!
We had such a wonderful time at this condo! The amenities are great (pool, hot tub, coffee, newspaper, laundry). The condo was a great location- close to town and walking distance to the gondola. The condo was in wonderful condition and it provided everything we needed. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

We have never stayed in a place as well stocked as this one was. Everything we needed was already there. It is also convenient to shopping and restaurants including Vail, Beaver Creek and an hour from Glenwood Springs, Leadville and Breckenridge. There is a great bakery behind the building and a river a little further back to walk off the calories. We had a great time and will definitely stay here again if we can get back to Colorado.

This is a great location and very well maintained condo. It was clean and well stocked. It was really nice having the grocery store across the street! Lorna did a wonderful job providing all the needed information. Would recommend this to a friend for sure.

If you are looking for a great place to stay at a reasonable price, this is it! We had five adults at this property for a week on a ski vacation. The unit was well maintained and equipped with just about anything you might need. The beds were comfortable and we found having two queen beds in the second bedroom a plus. The property is across from a City Market and there is additional shopping and dining options on the first floor of the building and also within easy walking distance, very convenient. We had a rental car and appreciated having a dedicated parking spot in the heated garage (another plus). There is guest parking in the garage as well should you need it. Dealing with Lorna and Tom was a pleasure, they were very responsive and helpful. The location is only a short trip up the hill to Beaver Creek and about 15 minutes to center village at Vail. We are looking forward to trying out their other property in Steamboat Springs next year.

Well equipped condo. Rooms are of moderate to small size. Furniture and carpets are clean and in great shape. Kitchen was well stocked with suitable pots, pans, spices, etc. Plenty of toiletries supplied. Great under ground garage for parking. Close to shipping and restaurants. You need to take the avon ski bus to beaver creek. The gondola is kind of a long walk especially with ski boots and equipment in tow. I would stay here again.

Condo had all the amenities of home, lotion, shampoo, hairdryer, even extra's in the kitchen like hot chocolate. Beds and pillows were super comfy!! Condo was a 2-3 minute walk from grocery store and Starbucks. Heated parking garage was an extra bonus in January. Great condo, will definitely return, thanks for the great communication with the owner.

This is a great place to stay for four or less people. The condo is very comfortable and is well stocked with everything you need. If you are planning to be there in the winter the indoor parking is a huge plus.

Very well appointed condo, comfortable beds and immaculately maintained. Principle reason we chose this unit was it's A/C. We attended a nearby wedding in early July, with daytime temps in low 80's. A/C was welcome in the afternoon, unneeded at night. With higher temp later in summer, would be a must have. Restaurants on the facilities first floor were OUTSTANDING. Authentic Mexican (not Tex-Mex), a great pizza parlor with outdoor seating, plus two eateries we didn't have time to try, but looked very inviting (sushi and Italian Restorante). Also, a small store with butcher shop also in complex. A short walk to the larger supermarket provides everything you could wish for dining in. Unit had all necessary kitchen goodies to prepare almost any meal of your choosing. Quite comfortable (two couples shared for our visit) but would be less so as you reached the max bedroom sleeping of 6 plus anyone of the couch. I guess that would depend on how well you got along with each other before arriving:).

About the owner: Lorna is a Colorado native and Tom from Buffalo, New York. We currently reside in Denver and love to and lover to go to the mountains to enjoy the wonderful outdoor activities. We have rental condos in Avon/Beaver Creek (#44689)and Steamboat Springs (#129136).
Why the Owner Chose Avon:
We purchased a condo in Avon because Lorna has been a regular at Colorado resorts since the early 80's and always loved the Vail Valley. We have great memories of skiing and hiking in the area; however, our most memorable is becoming engaged following a sleigh ride to the secluded restaurant, 'Beanos Cabin', located on Beaver Creek Mountain. Vail Valley has ulimited outdoor activities, world-class cuisine, amazing shopping, fabulous day spas and offers a menu of cultural events throughout the year. Vail and Beaver Creek have been consistently ranked top ski resorts in the world. While the winter is known for its great skiing, snowmobiling, Adventure Ridge and outdoor activities - the summers are filled with mountain biking, hiking, boating, and fishing along with multiple festivals.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
Chapel Square is located in the heart of Avon and at the base of Beaver Creek Mountain. It is a two block walk from the gondola and is located on the free shuttle route (with two other stops just across the parking lot). Unlike many other buildings, Chapel Square has residential floors on the top of the building and features the following restaurants on the lower level: steakhouse (Outback), mexican, sushi, soup/sandwhich/salad, and chinese. There are also salon services, grocery, toystore and other stores on the first floor of the building. Residential floors are secured by a code required in the elevator. There is also a great Pizza Restaurant and Irish Pub within a block of the condo. For those renting equipment - Christy Sports, Gart Sports and Vista Sports are all within a block of the condo as well. The condo has a heated parking garage and ski/bike storage along with a hot tub, sauna and fitness room available for use by the guests. Furthermore, it is within walking distance of the Avon Recreational Center which offers state of the art exercise equipment and indoor pools. We offer a gas grill on the patio of the condo which has a great view of Beaver Creek Mountain.
