This cottage was the perfect location for our Thanksgiving 2011. It is close to town....but, very private! The best of both worlds!! It is such a cute and charming place. We had the best time ever and plan to come back again and again!! Beth is an awesome homeowner who not only takes care of every little detail, she also bends over backwards to accomadate you. Don't miss staying at this cozy little cottage for your next getaway!! You won't be sorry!!!

My husband and I highly recommend this property for a delightful Highlands getaway! We arrived after a lovely fall afternoon drive from Atlanta to discover this very clean and cozy cottage. The descriptions and photos very accurately reflect this delightful home in a peaceful, secluded, woodsy setting a very short drive from downtown. The broad view of the trees and rhododendrons from the sun porch is so very serene. The owner Beth is a jewel to work with, and that was the icing on the cake for us as it made our experience that much more relaxing. In fact, the transaction was the most seamless we have experienced with VRBO rentals! While in the area, consider scouting lovely area waterfalls. Our favorite evening included a delightful dinner at the Ugly Dog Public House, a night cap at the Hummingbird Lounge at the Old Edwards Inn with delightful music by Cy Timmons, and a toasty fire back at the house. A perfect weekend in a precious house!
