  The cottage was charming and had everything needed. The view of the water was wonderful. Dealing with the owner was very pleasant. We will definitely go back again.

  We stayed at the Seaclusion cottage over the Easter weekend. The cottage is charming--airy and bright with everything you need to be comfortable. It is peaceful and the views of the water are amazing. It was great to sit at the dining table and look out at the sea. Ann was very helpful and accomodating. I highly recommend this property.

  beautiful spot on the bay. awesome views of boats entering/leaving harbor, loons, and the occasional seal. quiet at the house but close to Belfast for fun and supplies.

  Great place to stay in mid-coast Maine! The front room and kitchen are open and sunny with new furnishings and kitchen fixtures. There is a grilling and picnic area and access to the beach right out the front door. Bedrooms are clean and comfortable. Easy access to downtown Belfast and driving distance to Bar Harbor, Boothbay Harbor, Camden and all the rest that Maine has to offer. Hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did!

  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Seaclusion. What a pleasure to find a "home away" that turns out to be so accurately described and detailed on the website. Not only is this cottage lovely, accommodating, very well-appointed, and spotlessly clean, the location provides the perfect setting for a peaceful retreat on the coast of Maine. Whether we were relaxing in a cozy chair by the fireplace, eating a meal in the spacious dining area or curled up with a good book on the screen porch, we were able to soak in the picturesque view and the splendid sunset with the unspoiled seaside just steps away. Yet, we were just a short drive to scenic downtown Belfast, which offers great dining and shopping, including a wonderful market, cafe and deli. Seaclusion was a great choice for a weeekend getaway, and I look forward to returning when we can stay for a longer vacation, and feast at the nearby Young's Lobster Pound, too!

  My husband and I stayed at Seaclusion over Labor Day weekend last year. I cannot say enough great things about this cottage and the location. The view is amazing, it's like a painting! The cottage is bright and airy with wonderful windows that overlook the bay, capturing the beauty of the Maine coast! The kitchen is fully equipped and we made dinner there most nights. Downtown Belfast is close and has great shopping, bars, and restaurants. We took a day trip to acadia National Park and drove the park loop and ate popovers on Jordan Pond. After being out all day, we returned to a stunning peach sunset at Seaclusion. We can't wait to go back this summer! Such a peaceful and restful stay in a clean and beautiful cottage.

  My wife and I have stayed here more than once during the past few years. The location is great for day trips to Acadia, Baxter and Camden for any type of outdoor activity. Nearby Belfast is charming and offers great dining and shopping. Don't miss the experience of eating lobster at Young's. The view is spectacular. Kayaking in Belfast Bay is amazing. The accomadations are very up to date and the decor is light and pleasant. The screened porch is a great place to read a book. The settng is serene with peace abounding. I hope you enjoy this gem as much as we do!

  We spent nearly 3 weeks at Seaclusion Cottage last summer and enjoyed it thoroughly. Although part of a group of cottage located on the west side of Penobscot Bay, this cottage feels very private and has a gorgeous view out across the bay. It's close enough to Belfast to pop into the village for dining and shopping, but far enough so that you will not be bothered by crowds of people. Seaclusion is delightfully appointed with all the "mod cons" and necessary household items, but it is still very open, spacious, and clean. The rooms are light and airy, and it has a cozy porch for early morning coffee, and even a gas fireplace for those cool, foggy oceanfront days. There is a comfortable lawn in front of the cottage, with a barbecue and picnic table, and the beach is sloping but not too steep. Penobscot Bay is a delightful place for sea kayaking and other water sports. It's a good place for gathering sea shells and investigating tide pools when the tide is out. On some days you can occasionally even see seals sunbathing on the rocks to the north of the cottage. Definitely a perfect place for a summer holiday. The owners are very pleasant and helpful, but not at all intrusive.

Cleaning fee - $120.00 - extra cleaning will be charged to renters if necessary. Sweep out, removal of garbage and starting one load of laundry before leaving will decrease cleaning time.

Will consider partial refund of cleaning fees for shorter stays and/or extra clean guests.

Damage deposit - $200.00 refundable
