You'll be delighted by the decor of this lovely coastal cottage - beautiful wood floors throughout the home. With flat screen TVs in the den and in all three bedrooms, each with satellite channels, wireless internet, fully furnished kitchen, and full size washer and dryer, you can experience all the comforts of home while on vacation. One of the two community pools is just steps away from the property's front door. And, this pool is a zero entry pool - which is great for little ones! Linens are provided for all beds. Additionally, bath towels, hand towels, wash cloths and kitchen towels are provided.

Our stay at the Rookery was really enjoyable. We had two families (9 people) and the size was fine for us. The furnishings were very nice, beds were comfortable, and there were plenty of blankets and pillows to go around! The kitchen was well appointed with everything we needed. The beach was very nice too! The only issue we had was not with the house at all, but with the area. There were small biting gnats that would not leave us alone. It was difficult at times to enjoy the tennis court or the pool because even bug spray wasn't working to keep them at bay. If the owner or property manager has some tricks for keeping them away it would be good information to share with renters! Fortunately we did not find them to be a problem on the beach at all, just at the house. Other than that, the house was great and the owner has done a great job of decorating and making it feel like home!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.

We spent 4 days here and really enjoyed the peace, quiet, and comfort of this beautiful cottage. The house is exactly like the photos in the listing. It is beautifully decorated and easily accommodated 4 adults. The weather was rainy the first day and cool on the following ones. We made the most of it and visited the National Naval Aviation Museum at the Naval Air Station in Pensacola (about an hour drive away), explored Ft. Morgan (very close), and went deep sea fishing on a walk-on charter with Hudson Marina in Orange Beach. When we arrived, the Internet wasn't working. The rental company was extremely helpful and we were able to get it back up and running the next morning. The rental company and the owners were very prompt and helpful in answering questions and solving minor issues. I would highly recommend this home. It is away from the crowds, but close enough for daily grocery shopping, dining, and entertainment. Thank you for letting us share your home!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.
