Just finished a great stay at The Wine House in Paso Robles. Well equipped town house in gated community with nice private backyard patio for enjoying a glass of wine after a busy day of touring the wine country. The owner was very accommodating as we had several changes in our booking dates. Hope to return next year.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway.

this was a great weekend house, the backyard was so relaxing. Dale was great to work with. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!!!!!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

House was perfect for us. Listing was on the money. Property was in excellent shape. Home Owners were very thoughtful as well as helpful. We were provided detailed information in regards to use of amenities, places to eat, sights to visit, and directions to various points. We try to come to Paso Robles for the red Zin Festival every year. We enjoyed this location and dealing with these homeowners so much, we're hoping to be able to rent from them again next year!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children.

About the owner: The only place we love more than the beach is Paso Robles. I (Dale )discovered Paso Robles thanks to two of my dearest friends Tom & Jamie Straszewski and her parents Jim & Suzanne Kroener of Silverhorse Winery. Nathalie discovered Paso through friends of hers who went there every year for Winefest. In fact we met at Winefest in the park in Paso Robles, so it makes our visit there that much more special when we visit. We love wine, Paso Robles is such a warm, friendly town that reminds us of the small towns we both grew up in.
Why the Owner Chose Paso Robles:
We love wine and the obvious connection to the town from having met there coupled with so many friends. We wanted a home that offered all of the amenities we would want on a vacation within a gated community. A home we could visit when we wanted until our retirement years, that doesn't require a great deal of ongoing upkeep since it's located within a nice quiet gated community. We've been so blessed to have made so many wonderful friends there since we've been going to PAso Robles over the years, that we miss not being there more often and can't wait to return after we've left. We plan to retire in Paso Robles and be more involved in the wine business other than being their best customers.
We enjoy visiting our friends at the wineries who through all of their success remain as grounded as the day we met since they've worked as hard as we have to get where we they today. Magnificent food at our favorite restaurants owned by friends, Artisan, Villa Creek, Panolivo & Farmstand 46 with world class cuisine in the setting of an historic town. Seems every time we come town there's a gathering of all of the friends we've made, not to mention our friends who own and run the restaurants. We equally love just staying at the house, enjoying the quiet where the only thing you can hear is the train in the far distance and sizzling steaks on the bar-b-que.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
The moment you walk in you can feel the coziness of the home, not too small yet not too large either.. The house is so close to everything Paso Robles has to offer visitors and with all of the amenities afforded within walking distance it's a real find. Not many people can say they have a complete spa with mineral water hot tubs on the property where they live, let alone wine tasting within walking distance and world class restaurants within a 5 minute drive?
