All I can say is "WOW".This was my 4th trip to Portland to visit my daughter. She has a small apartment and we opted to rent this condo for our week-long stay. The best decision I've made regarding accomodations. The condo is very accurately described and the owners could not have been more helpful. They went out of their way to show my daughter the condo before I booked it. Any questions were promptly answered. This property is within walking distance of downtown...all the great restaurants and wine-tasting venues. The condo was very nicely decorated, super clean and has everything you would need for a longer stay. When I visit next year, definitely this will be my choice for accomodations.

A Perfect Week In Portland
A Perfect Week In Portland
At Portland Airport my wife and I boarded the Tri-Met light rail which was right by the baggage claim area and we took it with one easy transfer to downtown Portland. For those of us 65 and older it only costs $7 per week to use the light rail, streetcars and buses servicing Portland. I mention this because the light rail dropped us off 5 short blocks from the unit and there is a streetcar stop literally right in front of the high rise where this unit is located. We spent a week in Portland and only used Tri-Met. Portland State University is only a few blocks away and you must visit there Saturday morning to experience a most wonderful farmer's market. There are also many fine restaurants near this unit that you can walk to. This unit offers everything you would want in a rental. It has a very comfortable living room area, a lovely kitchen that has all of the appliances you require plus necessary pots and pans and plates, glasses and utensils. The bedroom has a very comfortable queen size bed and the bathroom easily met all of our needs. The unit also has a balcony with a glass door access that we liked to leave open so that we could enjoy the refreshing Portland afternoon and evening breeze. For us staying in this unit was clearly superior to staying in a hotel. This was our first experience with VRBO and units' owners made the process easy to understand and were prompt in responding to any questions we had. Because of their special care we are certain to use VRBO for future travel. If in our future we decide to travel to Portland again we know who we will contact to see if their lovely unit is again available for us to stay in.

Great Place to Spend a Week
Great Place to Spend a Week
My husband and I enjoyed our time very much and would stay here again. It's in a great location, and everything about the stay went smoothly. Booking our stay was rapid and convenient. I had a few questions that were answered right away. THE LOCATION....If you're not leaving Portland, you don't need to drive your car. Public transportation works well here, and the streetcar stops right in front, both directions. It will take you down to the South Waterfront area, or north to downtown, the Pearl District, 21st and 23rd streets, as well as across the Broadway bridge and south as far as OMSI. You can also walk up four blocks and get on Max, the light rail system, that will take you to the airport as well as other destinations outside the downtown core. You are in very close walking distance to Portland State University. The section of PSU at the south end of the South Park Blocks has an awesome farmers' market Saturdays March through December that's definitely worth a trip and its about six blocks up. If you walk the other way, down towards the river, it's about four blocks to the path that goes along the river, and you can walk or bike a long way. You are close to the Museum, the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall, and lots of activity. Not far from Pioneer Square either, the heart of downtown Portland. It's about a mile and a half walk basically along the trolley line from Jimmy Mak's jazz club on 10th St NW in the Pearl. THE CONDO ITSELF...Very pleasant, comfortable, one bedroom condo. Perfectly clean, attractive, and cared for. Comfortable queen sized bed, small bathroom with hair dryer and everything, and nice living/eating/kitchen area. The windowed wall faces south, and it's high enough to have a nice view. There's a balcony too. The kitchen area has all the utensils and appliances you need, and there was even some coffee and tea. There's a small grocery store not too far away if you want a few things to have on hand. All in all, we had a great time here and would happily stay here again and recommend it to our friends.
