Our second stay at Timber lodge was as much fun as the last. The theater room was a hit with our family. We also love the new granite countertops! We spent the day hiking around the island and the rest of our time relaxing around this lovely home. Maybe some day we'll come back during the busy season but there is something so peaceful about the "off season" which brings us back.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

The Timber lodge home is situated among tall trees with breathtaking views of the East Sound. A truly classic log home with tasteful and upscale decor. The home is exceptionally clean and well kept. We greatly enjoyed and utilized all of the amenities...the deck spa, pool table, saloon piano, professional/high quality home theater room and furnished tee-pee. An absolute pleasurable stay. We will definitely return

What a wonderful and memorable holiday we had on Orcas Island. To experience different sides of the island, we intentionally split our stay among two homes. We spent the first half of our vacation at the Headland House, a stunning and private home in Deer Harbor. Thinking nothing could impress us beyond our experience at the Headland House, we were indeed equally impressed with the comfy and cozy Timberlodge home, where we spent the second half of our vacation.

Thank you for such a wonderful experience in the beautiful log cabin. Our family was so cozy, happy and delighted with the gorgeous accommodations and all the fun native Indian inspired decorating details! The kids loved it and the adults could not stop enjoying the amazing December scenery around us. Thank you for a great stay and a fantastic new adventure for my dad’s 65th birthday!

Our stay was absolutely amazing from the moment we arrived! The views from the living room and deck were breathtaking. It was fantastic to sit and eat dinner while looking out over the ocean. The tipi was fantastic! My children loved playing in it and it was even heated! They pretended to be cowboys and Indians all day. The log cabin itself was astonishing. I can't wait until summer to go again. I have recommended this place to everyone I know and even boasted on facebook about it!

The owners were very accommodating and responsive when setting up the reservation. We arrived to find the lodge lit, heat on, firewood next to the fireplace, and music softly playing. What a very nice touch! The kitchen had everything we could imagine. We even baked bread each day in the breadmaker. The layout and furnishing were comfortable and high quality. The views are stunning, the grounds are lots of fun to explore(the tipi was the kids' favorite)We will be back soon!

The house is beautiful and the views amazing. I wish we had stayed longer than a weekend. The finished basement with a pool table and dart board made for hours of entertainment. There were deer and raccoons in the backyard. Overall, this was a great get-away. The only thing that would improve the experience would be a hot tub on the deck. We'll definitely be back!

What a magical place to arrive to from the hustle and bustle of Seattle. We were looking for a peaceful getaway and that’s exactly what we got. Beautiful, cozy house right in the middle of a beautiful landscape. We took out a row boat on the lake, did several hikes and enjoyed the view from the deck with a glass of wine daily! We only wish our stay was longer – we’ll be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation in your beautiful home and beautiful island! Thank you for opening your home to us as if we were family. Our children loved the Tipi and the fenced in area to play. The view from your house is amazing to wake up to every morning! Our children enjoyed collecting sea glass and the rock beach in Eastsound, playing at the sandy beach in Moran State Park, and playing at the Fun House. We also enjoyed all the games you furnished we had so many to choose from along with the puzzles. Thank you

What a way to get together with some friends and family…This is an incredible place! The kids absolutely loved the Teepee and searching for bigfoot. Too short a stay for sure. We went for a kayak adventure it was a lot of fun. Do not expect to see orcas but we did see harbor seals and porpoise and on the way back home we saw a raccoon.

From the minute we drove down the driveway then entered the front door the Timberlodge was everything we could have possibly hoped it would be. It was clean, warm, inviting, spacious, quiet and secluded. Oh, and did I mention romantic. My soon to be wife, (thank you very much), and I spent four nights here in '09 and time seemed to stand still. We couldn't have asked for anything more beautiful and comfortable. We only used a small portion of the house but what we did was outstanding! We only wish we had had more time there. We went in April and practicaly had the whole island to ourselves. The small restaurant at the top of East Sound was fantastic and the shops so fun browse. The ferry ride, wide open beaches and the Timberlodge to come back to made the whole trip a fairy tale for both of us. Thank you so much for helping make our first week back together so memorable. Sorry it took so long to write a review but we've been a bit busy. btw, love the new counter tops in the kitchen. We would recomend this place to anyone for any reason. Thanks again.

Thank you for letting us our huge family stay here. We enjoyed the home so much! Many of us stayed at the Roserio Resort and came to Timber Lodge for Thanksgiving meal at the cabin. Could not have found a more delightful place to spend time with family and friends. We were so luck to have gotten here just in time to see the snow on November 26th...amazing

We had an incredible time at Timber Lodge! Every amenity we could have hoped for was here. We didn't want to leave tis stunning place. Don't miss kayaking at the top of constitution also take a hike into the cascade falls area. This group of four couples with a 35 year old freindship had an idyllic vacation here. Hope you do too...

Orcas Island is so cool and beautiful! You'll loe it here and you'll love staying in is awesome log cabin! There is one place I highly recommend getting your vegtables from Saturday Market or Village groceries. Beaches were great! I would describe this house as relaxing,fun,peaceful and quiet. Great sights to see nice little shops you can go to and great things to buy! I love this place...and you will too!!!!

Orcas Island is amazingly pretty. We went to the Saturday Market and shops all around. Went to Lopez and San Juan Islands. This log home is definetly worth remembering

What a wonderful weekend we have had celebrating a birthday with our family (my 60th) Today was georgious sunny and warm as I was surprised by the arrival of my sisters and these families. This house was the site of our Spring Break Vacatin for two families who have been neighors and friends for several years. There was something for everyone to enjoy here. OUr favorite by far was spending several hours at Obstruction Bay Cove Beach in the warm sum of yesterday afternoon. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us! In this house, this home, we've found another place for four apart families to come together to reconnect, relax, play explore, revel in nature. It has been a magical time full of all those things and more. We know that the warmth wonderufl and welcoming energy of Timberlodge helped create that. We know that we will be back, that this will beomce a tradtion, "our vacation home" in the summers that we meet up on the West Coast. It's been great for those of us who live in the Northwest to share with our loved one's the best reasons why we love it here. The children have loved it all from exploring the "Lincoln Log House" and the fairy tale like woodsey setting to shooting paper airplanes off the deck. Soaking in not one but two Princess tubs all ages got into those! We know that each time we come here it will only get better and better as we build on the memories of the times before...and as our family continues to grow. This is our second stay at your lovely Timber Lodge. Brought our 7 year old grandson and he loved his moose bedroom! Our 20 year old grandaughter came for a week later and didn't want to leave. We also had other relatives visit and friends from Texas. We hiked, kayaked, swam, saw eagles, dolphins, seals and starfish. Feed the deer and birds saw plays and chamber music. Time has flown and now we have to go home. Thanks again for sharing your lovely home with us.

What a wonderful island and beautiful log house! We've enjoyed our week here so much and was a special treat to celebrate our parents "50th wedding anniversary". The views and sunsets from the deck have been awesome! Loved all the wildlife, especially the tame deer and huge bald eagles. Had a memorable meal at Ship Bay Inn and loved our whale watching excusion (although we were disappointed not to see any Orcas) Thank you so much for sharing your lovely home with us!

Our week here at Timber Lodge has flown by! We have enjoyed sitting on the deck watching birds feed as the sunset. Listening to small planes arrive and depart from the local airport spend quality family time with out sons and friends and time with our sons. Playing pool, darts, and simply sitting by the fire. Not to mention everything else we did in exploring Orcas Island. We reflected on the truthfulness found at Rom 1:23 "God's invisible qualities are seen from his creation onward!" Thank you for allowing us to enjoy this absoutly beautiful home!

7/15- 9/2/04 What a great time we've had, friends and family came to visit. Everything was thoughtfully provided, lovely views and sunsets, hiked boated, kayaked at spring Bay Inn. Favorite places to eat; Inn at Ship Bay, Roses, West sound cafe. Tambriel Museum well worth seeing, & Rosario's walk through the museum. Fed the deer and birds Saturday Market is great!
