Listen to the Waves...Breakers Villa is located in Judith's Fancy a gated community on the north shore in St. Croix. From the cantilevered pool deck you have far reaching views of the Caribbean Sea. The trade winds blow in off the sea providing a natural cooling effect, you can taste the salt spray as you wet your lips letting the tropical sun warm your body and your soul. Breakers Villa is nestled right next to the sea with direct access to a semi-private beach which is only 100 yards away from the pool deck. Breakers and Sea Glass Villa are closer to the sea than any of the other villas in Judith Fancy...if you do a comparison you wil find that other villas sit much closer to the street. This is why you are able to hear the sounds of the waves because these villas sit so close to the ocean.
An enclosed outdoor courtyard and very private pool add to your feeling of "being away from it all." The great room and open kitchen area look to the sea and east to Buck Island. Breakers Villa is a 3 bedroom house...our rates are based on the total number of bedrooms required during the stay (we only rent to one party at a time this is not a shared house rate). We only close off the bedrooms that are not used... the rest of the home is available for use. This rate structure allows us to offer a lower rate to couples and smaller size families that are not using all the bedrooms and sofa beds in the villa.
Air conditioning in all the bedrooms are included in rate. Surcharge of $30.00 per night for air conditioning in kitchen and great room area.

Why the Owner Chose Christiansted
We had just sold a condo in Kona, Hawaii and found that we actually preferred the Caribbean to Hawaii. I started searching the internet for a villa in the Caribbean. I can honestly say that we purchased Breakers Villa by viewing the photos on the internet. The photos were so breathtaking and our agent was so incredibly helpful that we purchased it sight unseen. It was not until six months later that we took our first trip to St. Croix to see what we had purchased. My fondest memory is making a call to our friends back home describing the layout of the villa and telling them that it was even better than we ever imagined it could be. Our friends could hear the sounds of the waves in the background and said jokingly...Hey can you turndown the sounds of those waves as we are having a hard time hearing you with all that ocean noise. If you are looking for an oceanfront property with a private beach only steps away... then you have come to the right place! I have to say that everyone loves the floor plan with the great room and pool in the center of the villa. Having two large master suites on opposite ends is ideal for two couples. I would say in one word "Romantic" Breakers Villa is definitely a romantic villa especially at night. One stay at Breakers Villa and it will capture your heart just as it has done with me and so many others

Owner's Map of Christiansted
After spending 25 years in high tech procurement as a start-up company expert and entrepreneur I left that part of my life behind to become the Vacation Lady. In the early 1980’s I was having to make frequent trips to the Far East and experienced High tea at the Raffles Hotel in Singapore. It was during this trip that the inspiration and entrepreneurial vision came to open Tea Salons in the US. In 1988, I founded a new specialty retail tea business. Created the concept, interior design elements and business plan model from a one-store operation to over 16 US franchised operations and two International locations in less than four years which placed us number 35 of the 100 fastest growing privately held companies in Silicon Valley in 1995. After 10 years in the tea business and spending stints in high tech start-ups I was ready for a new challenge. Since my husband and I enjoyed traveling and dabbling in real estate and nearing retirement age it seemed like the perfect fit. In 1996 we founded Vacation Holdings, purchased our first vacation home and set off to build a luxury vacation rental business using our properties as vacation rentals. It was such a natural progression as I could use my skills in purchasing, interior design and use the same disciplines required in franchising such as scheduling, creating instruction manuals for guests and tracking linen, towels and kitchen inventory. Basically, I was back in the Franchise business only this time we were creating turnkey vacation rentals instead of retail store fronts. My lessons learned from the service industry are applied every day in customer service and satisfaction. We are now up to 9 properties in various areas of the US and Virgin Island and I can say that this is the best time of my life as there is nothing more satisfying than helping to make a Dream Vacation come true.

We ended our tour of the Virgin Islands on Saint Croix and were beyond happy with our time at The Breakers. We found everything we wanted and more! We are world travelers and found the accommodations at The Breakers exceptional. We loved sleeping with the windows open and falling asleep to the sound of the ocean. There is a wonderful breeze right off the ocean, we didn't need to turn on the A/C at all. The beach access made for great walks on the beach each day. We found lots of sea glass to add to the collection at the villa. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and on the grill. The kitchen labels made it easy to find and put things back in a house we were not familiar with. We went exploring at Cane Bay and Columbus Beach. We also drove out to Point Udall. The island has a lot to offer, although we didn't see much need to ever leave the house, we had everything we needed right there. We would definitely recommend this villa to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Saint Croix.
