This ultra energy efficient desert home with spectacular views across the entire Coachella Valley is a showcase of modern design and technology. It was constructed in 2003 as the “Energywise House”, under the supervision of noted “This Old House” program host, Bob Vila.

About the owner: The owners of this home are retired and live in Palm Springs. They are very knowledgeable about the area and are responsive to any special requests you may have while visiting. Restaurant recommendations, arranging a tennis match, hiking trail hints, cultural events, etc. are gladly provided. We love this area and love sharing our favorite spots.
Why the Owner Chose Mesa:
This is one of the few properties in Palm Springs that looks out over the valley as opposed to facing the San Jacinto Mountains. What does that mean, it means Airliner views of the valley with mountains in the distance. It means incredible sunrises and and incredible sunset effect on the distant mountains.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
This property is in the Mesa, a coveted small residential only Palm Springs neighborhood, convenient to downtown, but VERY private. The Mesa is made up of streets that end at the mountains, so there is no thru traffic, and very walkable streets.
