As our first long-term vacation home rental, we were pleased to have had such a positive experience. The house was as advertised, was spacious, clean, indeed pristine, well-decorated, sumptuously equipped, great outdoor area, a perfect location, with inspiring views of incredible mountains, total privacy from neighboring houses, nearby food, walks, hiking, historic modernism locations, and essentials shopping, and felt like home almost immediately. Koffi, the corner coffee/muffin stop, was one short block away, and an every day stop for us. The owners were accessible but not intrusive and very friendly to deal with. The architecture and decor of the house, though new, reflected the local color of Palm Springs modernism so we felt we lived in mid-century Palm Springs. Smoketree quickly became our go-to everyday shopping/eating area and was within walking distance through an attractive neighborhood. The canyons were within a moderate to long walk or short drive and a must-see experience. Downtown restaurant row/historic district was accessible by car within 5 minutes. The house being located one block off Palm Canyon Road made car navigation very easy to local points as well as the rest of Coachella Valley. I would recommend this location to everyone and will return another winter, next for 2 months instead of one. And the winter weather was brilliant blue skies and warm from 60s to low 80s every day but one, so it actually does rain in Southern California. Just once. And it's cold at night so bring sweaters for winter stay, but house was toasty.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing.

This property is beautiful and exceeded our expectations. It's full of light and the view of the mountains was fantastic. The house was well appointed throughout and the kitchen was very well equipped. The bedroom and bathroom linens were all very nice. The house was very clean and fresh. The backyard landscaping and amenities feels like a resort. There are a couple of fun restaurants/bars in walking distance. Most places we visited were a short drive (5-10 min) away. The owners are extremely nice and helpful. We would stay here again and recommend to others. It's nice for couples or singles as the bedroom locations afford privacy.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing.
