Come and stay at Eagle's Nest at the summit of Eagle's Swoop!! Our home is steps away from Eagle's Swoop which is one of Wintergreen’s main intermediate ski slopes. It is one of the first slopes to open and the last to close during ski season. It is also one of the few lit slopes that allows for night skiing. Our home is within walking distance to the Mountain Inn for dining, hiking and biking trails and the Out of Bounds Discovery area for kids. We added an extensive deck on three sides of our home for easy ski access to the slopes. We have eliminated the steps that are difficult to manage with any ski equipment. Our deck has views on both sides - mountains on one side and skiers on the other. The sunsets are to die for!!
Our home has a wood-burning fireplace with lots of firewood which is perfect to warm your toes during those cold mountain nights. We have added 2 full sized soft leather sofas and a large entertainment center with a new 42" flat screen TV, Wii, DVD/VCR, and stereo in our living room!! Our home has three TV's, 3 VCR's/DVD's, a Playstation II, Wii, video games, books, board games, desk top computer with Wi/Fi internet access and a stereo system for all to enjoy in our home. We also stock our home with movies, games and toys. We added stainless steel appliances to our kitchen – gas stove, double wide refrigerator, and dishwasher. Our kitchen is fully-stocked with everything you might need including spices, condiments, cleaning and paper supplies. We just installed new carpet with extra thick padding throughout our home. The high vaulted ceilings in our home open out to our expansive decks. We have added lights to our deck which gives our home that special glow.
Eagle’s Nest has two large bedrooms downstairs with high vaulted ceilings and king beds. Our loft has 2 twin beds. We also have a queen inflatable and pack n play for extra guests. Our beds are so comfy with featherbeds and fresh linens. The loft is perfect for kids with its Buz and Woody Toy Story theme. It also has its own TV/VCR, Playstation II, toys, games, books, computer and videos. There are two full baths on the main level have been remodeled with marble tile and new fixtures. Our wrap around deck has a stainless steel Jenaire gas grill, 39 jet Hot Tub, tables and chairs for your comfort and enjoyment. Our hot tub has always been a great addition for those sore muscles and relaxation.

We fell in love with Wintergreen the first time we found it while looking for snow. It is so beautiful and family friendly. It has so much to offer!! We own 2 studios in Wintergreen as well.
The Unique Benefits at this House
Our boys learned how to ski on Eagle's Swoop at ages 3 and 5. Every season has its own special advantages and we love everyone of them. We not only enjoy skiing but also hiking, biking and exploring. Our boys are on their way to becoming Eagle Scouts with only one rank to go and love going to Wintergreen.

We highly recommend The Eagle's Nest. It had everything we could possibly need, including a fantastic hot tub. How perfect is that after a long day on the slopes?! There was plenty of games for the kids to keep them busy, while the adults could lounge around the fireplace with plenty of seating. The views were awesome and the slopes were a few steps through the woods. It really felt like we were staying in the house of friends, warm and inviting. We definitely plan on returning to Eagles Nest again next year. Great Place!!

Just left Eagles Nest after a long weekend. Home is well equipped and literally only steps to the slopes. Besides the location, the hot tub was our favorite part! We hope to come back next year!

Our visit this week was a lovely time of relaxation, golf and great food! Your home is just that "HOMEY"! Your have put in an amazing amount of thought into providing comfort and convenience for your guests. Well stocked kitchens and extremely comfy beds and sofa make for a wonderful vacation. Thank you. We had a great time at your mountain home. We fit a lot into a short three day trip. Hiking, biking, swimming and lots of good eating was the order of the day. The kids loved the loft and all the games. The couches and beds were very comfortable.

We had such a lot of fun! This house is so cozy! The slopes were icy, but we skied all day long then we came back and soaked in the hot tub. My little brother Michael loves dyour Toy Story items. He loves Buz and Woody. Skiing was great!

We love your cozy house and rented it for the ski-in and out. SO convenient! We did have good snow as weather is very cold. The house is well stocked in every way and the beds were so comfy! We will be back!

Dear Deb & Joe, Thanks for sharing your house with us - it was very cozy. The weather was warm, but we did get 3 days of skiing in - love the ski-in, ski-out! Your home is well stocked and had lots of amenities. The hot tub was great for the sore muscles after skiing. What a great way to start the New Year! Dear Deb & Joe, We've stayed at a lot of places here but this is the nicest. The leather couches made us way too lazy. They are really comfortable. Obviously you guys put a lot of love and care here and really do extra things for your guests that we never see. We will definitely be back!!! Thanks!

Hi Guys! We had a total blast staying in your home! We have been coming to Wintergreen for 25 years and this was the BEST! We have stayed almost in everything Wintergreen has to offer but your house by far was fabulous-o-! Our kids didn't even want to leave the loft to go skiing. Tell Parker? that his room rocks. We will definitely rent your home again. Thanks for sharing it with us. You can tell your house is really a home!
