4 bedroom, 3 bath waterfront home with central air on gorgeous 1 acre property. Located on a 26 acre fresh water swimming pond our home we lovingly call ''On Depot Pond'' was built focused on the gorgeous waterfront with an abundance of large windows. It offers 3000 sq feet of space for families to share time together while allowing everyone separate private areas for time alone at the end of the day.
Ideal for one or two families there are 4 bedrooms & 3 full bathrooms. 3 bedrooms are located on main floor plus large semi-private sleeping area with 1Q/1F/1T & full bath upstairs.
The king master bedroom & full bath are located on the main floor to the left of living room with french doors to the screened porch overlooking the pond. Two additional bedrooms (1Q/2T) with den & full bath are located to the right of the living room. Upstairs are two additional semi-private sleeping areas (1Q/1F/1T) with full bath & large windows overlooking the pond & our gardens.
The living room is oversized with 32'' HiDef TV. We have 4G high speed wireless internet throughout the house in addition to eight television sets all with expanded cable. Premium movie channels in LR, Den, MBR and upstairs queen area plus 2011 MLB game package.
Our 40x16 pondfront deck provides a tremendous space for lounging with custom patio furniture, dining & cocktail tables. Its a perfect spot for barbeques and relaxing while enjoying our bird feeders or watching the kids swim or use our boats which include 4 sit-on-top kayaks, Sunfish sailboat and canoe. There are additional Adirondack chairs provided pond front plus 10 multi-sized life vests for safety.
Just built, for the 2011 season, a new 13 x 14 ft screened in porch is located off the master bedroom w French doors plus outside door access to the pond. Furnished with Restoration Hardware furniture, the screened porch provides a cozy space for evening reading and chats.. (This porch is also glassed in for winter/early spring season.)
The house is set in the middle of our 1 acre property off a quiet road within walking distance of the Eastham Windmill and provides a spacious and secure play area for children plus privacy from the summer crowds.
Premium quality mattresses and Pottery Barn duvets on all beds. Hardwood floors in living & dining room plus Berber carpet in all bedrooms with quality furnishings throughout. NO PETS. NO SMOKING
A short stroll (.3 mi) from the Eastham Windmill, Eastham Superette, Eastham library. The Cape Cod National Seashore Headquarters is within a 5 minute drive of the house with is encircled by the Cape Cod Bike Trail. The house is close to both ocean (Coast Guard and Nauset Light 2 miles) and bay beach(First Encounter 1.25 miles).

Why the Owner Chose Eastham
John, as a child traveled every summer since six months old to Cape Cod with his family. I was actually born on the Cape in Bourne and spent my toddler years in Truro. After marrying, now 27 years ago, we have realized our dream of a beautiful home on the Cape together to share with family and friends.
The Unique Benefits at this House
"On Depot Pond" is unique in that it is large enough to accommate a family group in shared spaces including our deck and screened porch on a one acre property. But, at the end of the day, with three distinct areas, the family is allowed to spend time alone in comfort...lots of TV's, places to relax and for the kids to play without everyone having to be on top of one another. Great for the parents plus the kids.

This is a fantastic place. The house is beautiful, clean and nicely decorated. The location is perfect. Depot pond is ideal. We especially enjoyed using the sunfish, kayaks and canoes. The bike trail is close by, as are bay and ocean beaches.

We stayed at the cottage the last week in July. It was wonderful, worth every penny. Everything we needed was there. The canoe and kayaks were great. We're definitely looking to come back again next year.
