Beautiful 3,400+ square foot (plus full basement), updated Cape home, located on a quiet dead-end street within 50 yards of private association dock with direct access via kayak (provided) through scenic Bumps river to Long Beach. House has 5 double bedrooms and 3 full and 2 half baths, including two master suites (second one to be completed spring 2013 with brand new bathroom!). Main floor master suite has 2 person spa tub and separate shower. The great room has 20 foot Cathedral ceilings, a large field stone fireplace. Perfect for fires on a cold fall or winter’s night or to enjoy friends and family at the end of a day of all that the cape has to offer. The large deck has a outdoor gas grill and plenty of shaded seating overlooking the beautifully maintained gardens. The modern kitchen includes Viking gas range and sub-zero fridge with icemaker, cherry cabinets and granite counters. The dining room has expandable table to seat 10 for dinner. Full basement with comfortable couches, second TV (perfect kids zone), extra fridge and a multitude of games for young and old, including: ping pong, Foosball, pool, air hockey, WII and more. The house is within 2 miles of downtown Osterville, Craigville beach, Four Seas ice-cream and the general store. The location is convenient to several major supermarkets including Stop and Shop (Cotuit and Hyannis), Fancy Market (Osterville) and Trader Joe’s (Hyannis), as well as close to ferries to Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard or a trip anywhere on or off Cape.

About the owner: My husband and I have lived in and traveled to many places around the world and currently live on St. Thomas in the Virgin Islands with our teenage daughters. We love staying in rental properties in our travels. Not only is this usually a more economical equation, but I like feeling that I'm 'living' the local life when exploring a new place.
Why the Owner Chose Centerville: We bought our Cape house in 2009 to be closer to family in the summer and bring our teenage daughters closer to their summer activities. We haven't regretted our purchase for one single moment. From watching the birds on the back deck or dock, riding our bike into Osterville for a coffee or a paper, to kayaking straight from our own dock to long beach. Our kids love going to Craigville beach, stopping for ice cream at Four Seas, or going to the mall or movies with their summer friends. It is close to everything without sacrificing the peace and quiet you crave while being on vacation.
